Favorite Cheeses?

As I sit here eating my favorite cheese -- Smoked Cheddar -- I was wondering what everyone else's favorite/s are?

I also like provolone and meunster a lot. :)

I don't really have a favoritr cheese, but the combination of ricotta and mozzerella gets me everey time! Stuffed shells! Lasagna! MMMMM.....

I'll have to ask my dad :o Yea, he cooks me everything :rolleyes: and he buys me everything, so I eat whatever cheese is in the fridge. I'm a cheese-aholic though, so, it doesn't stay in there long enough for me to look at the wrapper!

I like all kinds of cheese, except swiss and pepperjack. When I was younger I had this obsession with cheese, and I wanted my parents to buy it in huge blocks. I have no idea why i liked it so much. But now my "obsession" has shrunk some. :)

I put swiss as my favorite, but I also love
sharp chedder cheese, string cheese, espesially the soft cheese's mixed with almonds.

My favorite is sharp chedder, swiss cheese, and colby. I'll eat just about any kind of cheese.:)

All of the above!! I love cheese. And being on the South Beach diet, i can eat pretty much, as much as i want :) I guess Cheddar would be my fave, though.

Kay, it's scary how much we're alike. All your favorite cheeses are mine, as well. I voted Provolone because I didnt' see smoked cheddar. I should have voted other.

Ralph on the other hand doesn't care for cheese unless it is on Pizza or Lasgana. Makes for some intersting cook

I love the sharpest cheddar you can find, and smoked cheddar is very good. I also like parmesan and american cheese is pretty good too.

Sharp Cheddar and Gorzongola are my favorites. I also like Swiss, Colby or any Cheddar. I would like to eat it every day, but my cholestrol is high.

I love cheese - Cheshire, Cheddar, White Stilton, and Red Leicestershire are my favourites. I think I should stop eating as much as I do - it's not good for me :(

We are a Anchor Colby cheese lovers here, I love the creamy texture, yummie, not very adventurous to try others, we go through a 1kg family block every week, I have lots of salads, and my daughter loves a plate full grated, and my son loves cheese sandwiches. Bring it on!!!:)

I love nearly all cheeses! A good sharp cheddar with apple pie is wonderful this time of year!

cheese, cheese, almost any kind of cheese! The only one I don't like on the list is Swiss. I went from loving Swiss, to hating it, and now I tolerate it.

Another mouse in disguise here! I'll pass on limberger (sp), bleu cheese...any of those dirty locker room smelling cheeses..bleck! Swiss, provolone (imported on both) cheddar, goat cheese once in a great while (but it has to be mixed with something else)...hmmm. Did I mention I like cheese? :confused: :D :p

Funny to see this poll because I am currently on a cheese and crackers obsession - have always loved cheese though. I listed my very favorites as swiss and provolone though. Swiss has just the right taste for crackers and I love the smokiness of provolone on a sandwich with roastbeef.:D I also like provolone nelted over onion soup. YUM!!

Colby & Cheddar!

My all time favorite is Heluva Good extra sharp cheddar. I also love feta, american, and provolone. The rest are good too, but these are my favorites.

Brie!! I bought myself a wedge of Brie this week and someone ATE IT!! :mad: That stuff's pricey!!

Ok, I voted for them all because I'm a cheese-aholic. Never met a cheese I didn't like :D Swiss is probably my least favorite only because I don't like the way it tastes if you eat it plain. I always eat it on sandwiches and hamburgers though. I LOVE sharp cheddar.

I notice not too many people voted for feta. I suggest buying basil & tomato feta and putting it in your salad - MMMMMMMMM. I also put feta in my hamburger meat and it is really good!

Yummy queso! That is one of my favorites too.

You can make it at home by putting velveeta, milk, and rotel in a crock pot. SO GOOD! My sister also adds sausage to hers.

All cheeses are great! well... except american. :p
