He's Huge!

Tuna has turned into a huge cat! Yesterday I stood on a scale and weighed myself then I held him and weighed myself again, he already weighs 10 lbs! He's only 6 months! He has to go in for shots soon so then we will know for sure how much he weighs.

OH MY GOSH! He is huge!!! I can't believe he's grown that much!

He is huge! Grover is well over a year old and only weighs 7 lbs! Whew! Tuna is going to be a whopper!

He's on the road to be Ripley size or bigger. I think Ripley was 8.5 pounds when he was neutered at 5 months of age. He topped the scales at 22 pounds once but now stays around 18-19 pounds. The vet says 17-18 would be ideal for him.

I can't get over how big both of them are. I have forgotten how fast kittenhood flies by.

What are you feeding those two? Those are two biiiig kitties! Maybe tuna just wants to fill ut some so that he's big enough to celebrate Halloween with all the other big black cats?

Even though currently, my heart belongs to the House of Orange, I have a special place set aside for large black cats. Tuna is so beautiful and big and he reminds me so much of my Magic who left me for the Rainbow Bridge a few years ago.

OMG how he's grown. His fur is so shiny and black! Actually they've both really grown!!

Tuna really is getting big. He is beginning to look a lot like Samson, but I think Tuna will be bigger than Samson when he stops growing. Samson is in the 12-13 pound range and is rather "fluffy".

Oh my Tuna, what a big beautiful boy you are. And Pockey, how lovely you are. Kisses to both of you.

Awww thanks Laura. I was also going to say that Tuna kind of resembles my RB Pepper. Pepper was 18lbs at his heaviest but was usually around 16lbs. Tuna may have some Maine Coon or Norweigian Forest Cat in him.:)
Pockey sure is getting big too and is gorgeous.:)

Maybe Tuna will grow up to look like this some day.
