Fall colors...

I was out walking with the dogs today and the fall colors were just gorgeous so I snapped a few pics.

This one is taken standing on the lake shore, looking back towards the main trail.

Back up on the trail. The tree laying in the trail was taken down by our very busy local beaver! He's decimated the polar population along the lake shore. (I'm allergic to the white fuzz those trees drop so I'm quite happy that he eats them!)

And finally, the pretty colors won't be around for along--this was a snow flurry moving in!

Oh how i love the fall! I can't wait to buy pumpkins and breath in that brisk fall air. It is still 80 degrees here...but not for long!! 70's the rest of the week.

Absolutely beautiful! I miss the fall so much. That one with the log in the way could be on a postcard. Very pretty.

Your pictures are just beautiful and they make me wish fall would hurry up a little as it is my favorite season! I cringed a little, though, when I read about snow flurries! Whoa!! That's a little too soon for me! :D

Nice scenery! Gets me into fall mode. I wish I could take a walk on that trail or we had a trail like that near here. I love fall and taking long walks, the brisk air, the colors, I love it all. lol :p

Glacier, how could u remind me that winter is just around the corner!! I'm still waiting for summer to happen!!!!

Glacier I think this winter is gonna be a bad one. its been fairly cool all summer. I hope we don't get too much snow again.

I love the 3rd picture!

Boy do those photos remind me of home. I grew up in Northern Saskatchewan and I am now in the D.C. area. Let me tell you there is a world of difference in the seasons between the two places. But every once in awhile I do miss the landscape in Canada (but definitely not the serious winters :D )

I absolutely LOVE the lake view picture but they're all beautiful.
My husband loves Autumn when the leaves change & the air smells different. I prefer Sring myself, then I know Summer is right around the corner instead of Winter.:)
