Boat Trip With Tori....Pics!

Well, after realizing that it wasn't doing me any good sitting home worrying and fretting about Katie and after some encouragement from my son and Anna, I decided to join my son and his girlfriend down at the lake

Tori was thrilled when she saw me grab for her leash and get ready to go. Off we went for our boat adventure. This was Tori's first time on the boat and she was timid at first but by the end I think she was starting to enjoy herself and have fun sniffing all the wonderful smells in the air.

Of course I grabbed the camera and brought it along also ;)

Robin I was so glad that you and Tori decided to take the trip out to the lake, it seems like it really did you alot of good.
And of course you got some great pictures so that makes it even better (expecially for us;))

WONDERFUL PICTURES!!! I feel like I have just taken a mini vacation with you all at the lake! LOL! Tori is beautiful as always, and I am so glad you got a chance to get out. I'm sure it helped to get the worry of Katie off your mind for just a little while. Great shot of your son by the way! ;)

Awww, those are great pictures!! I love pictures that capture our pets' personalities - I feel like I get to know them better that way, if that makes any sense. :) It looks like Tori had a terrific time - she's a lucky girl! And it seems as though it was good for you to go as well, to keep your mind off of Katie (even though I promise you everything will be okay with her).

I'm glad you let your son and his girlfriend to talk you into taking a break - you need it and I am sure when you get Katie home with that cast on you will really look back and remember the peace of that evening.

Tori has grown since our last picnic! What a big girl she is getting to be! Great pictures of her - she looks like she really enjoyed the boat ride. I have a feeling Snoopy would try to jump out and I am not really too sure how the others would react. Jack hates water so he probably would be hiding under the seats!

Wow! Tori is georgeous! And BIG! How old is she now? And how much does she weigh? She's so pretty! I think I remember joining around the time you got her...I didn't really know anybody and I saw your surprise thread..I think. Well, it looks like you really enjoyed yourselves out there!:D

Thanks, Logan. She really is growing, isn't she? Sometimes I don't realize it. She always just seems small beside Katie...lol. The girls say thanks for the hugs ;)

Tori and I say thanks to everyone for all the nice comments!

I think it was Maria who asked....Tori is 7 1/2 months old and last time she was weighed I think the scale said 42 pounds. She might weigh just a little bit more than that. You're right Maria she was a surprise birthday gift for me! A complete surpirse...lol. Turned out to be a wonderful surprise ;) I love that little girl.

What great pictures, Robin! I am glad that you and Tori got out of the house for a while. She has grown so much!

We used to have a boat when we lived in Georgia on Lake Lanier. Drake loved it! When I would walk with him down to the dock, he would beat me there and wait by the boat! We always had a hard time keeping him in the boat though once we were out in the water. He loves to swim!
