I think he's cute!
We get similar spiders here, except they have yellow stripes instead of red. *shudder* if that was on me, I would so flip out!
He/She is very pretty though! Even though they are creepy to me, they still are in a way beautiful.
what kind of spider??? If it had been on me, it would have been a DEAD spider. *shudder*
I've never seen one like that before...hope it's not deadly!
I'm posting these at another board, I should have an answer for you soon. :) Cute spider!
AHHH!!!!! Discusting and looks dangerous!?!! (But I know nothing about spiders! lol) all I know is that is gross!
It is the kind that aren't supposed to be on friends at work. Bad spider!
The Kind Of Spider That Is Would Be: FREAKING ADORABLE!!:D:D:D
You girls used the words cute and adorable to describe a spider....I beg to differ! :p
Spiders don't bother me, but they don't get affectionate names either. lol.
LOL! I agree there. It IS pretty in a way but cute? Adorable? I don't know...Quote:

Any replies yet WolfChan? Im really curious now...
I know what kind it is: A smashed spider in the trash can.
Lol, sorry spider lovers. That is kinda scary looking!
Did your friend find it in there house?
No way! What if it comes back to life? Spiders have to go into the toilet and the toilet has to be flushed twice. Just to be safe!Quote:

I agree!!! One time a spider was in the toilet, and he got flushed once... and he was still alive!!! LOL Nasty little thing!
Awww i cannot see the photos at the moment, but i bet the Spider is very pretty. :)
My curiosity has me, but it would be killed by the cats! I appreciate spiders as they contribute to the complexity of the wonderful world of nature. ;) I'm not a smash & flush type, but a cup & release one. That is if they make it out the door!   Neat looking spider IMO!:D
I looked for about an hour one night to find out what it was, but I couldn't:( Anyone know? The suspense is killing me!
I'm waiting too! Hope it was not poisenous.
I posted the pictures on another site and I got just one response. It didn't really tell me anything as I no virtually nothing about spiders. But this is what it said...
I asked "What kind of spider is this?" He responded "Clubionidae - Sac Spider. mild ant mimic. Active during the day."
I typed the latin name into the search engine and came up with this site.
http://www.usq.edu.au/spider/info/families.htm
I only briefly scanned it, but it looks like an interesting looking site to help identify spiders. :)
QueenScoopalot: I looked at all the pics when this thread was first started & the spider isn't in that website.
I also looked up "Clubionidae - Sac Spider. mild ant mimic. & diff varances of it & found nothing, not even close. The only spider with the same 2 colours, black & red was the black windo spider (sp)
