Which color pen do you like more...blue or black?
Are those my only choices? :D Given the choice between the two, blue. Only because black is so, boring. I love COLOR!!!
I have a zillion different pens colors and markets, and --- just colors! I never ever use black unless its to sign something official.
Black. :)
Black! Because I think it looks more professional
Green!
I was just thinking how "unprofessional" I am because given the choice of Black or Blue, I like blue!!!! :o But I do use black ink most of the time in my work.

BLUE
See, isn't it pretty?]
i generally prefer blue, but it depends, i like black ball point pens, but i usually use gel pens and i like those when they're blue
I think I tend to use black more but I just noticed that I have both a blue pen and a black pen right by my keyboard. Guess I'm a 50/50 kind of gal.
I would perfer Red or different color becasue I like red and black and blue so all of them
BLACK
I know its crazy, but I write neater with black pens. My handwriting is terrible in blue ink.
I'm the same!Quote:

I have no clue why.:p
:o I must be tired. I noticed people talking about pens and was like...hmmm. I COMPLETELY missed the pen thing, I thought it was just color in general. Then I guess I change my vote to blue!
In my editing classes, we discussed how the color of ink affects the person reading the paper. Red is thought to be very strict (think: teacher's grading essays). Too often black blends in with the printout. On the other hand, blue is a bit too casual. So it's suggested to go with softer but more visible color (think purple, pink, etc.) It kind of "humanizes" the technicality.
But, that's not why I use pink. I just like the color! :D
(BTW, gel pens are my absolute favorite!)
i like to used pretty colored pens too, like i have some hot pink pens and purple ones and light blue. i liek to write my papers and homework in them so it'll stand out to the teacher (nothing like alittle brown nosing ;))
As a retired printer, BLACK is the only pen to be used for handwriting. It's difficult to reproduce any other color. Old habits are hard to break and I still prefer black. Problem is, there aren't as many choices in pens with black ink.
Black
I like black better too. We only have like one blue pen in our house so its normally not me who uses it.:p
Make mine Blue. I work as a paralegal and what many people do not realize is that you should always sign legal documents in BLUE ink. That way you will always know whether or not a document is the original as almost all photocopiers will copy the signature as BLACK. Because this is so deeply ingrained in me (I've worked in the legal profession for over 20 years) I always sign everything I do in BLUE ink - checks, contracts, notes, etc.
I mainly use Purple:D
I only use gel pens not ball point but in any case I prefere black, or other darm colours like purple, or red(gel pens,I hate red ball point)
Thats very interesting! All therse years people have told me time and time again to sign formal thngs and abusines things in black. I really do hate black pens. I can;t see them against type face!Quote:

Also, I use a different color pen on every drawing I'm doing to mark the day's edits. That way I can keep track of when I made what change when. I'll make a note of the date somewhere on the page so that I know. I've got tons of blueprints with at least ten different colors! :D It has saved me quite a few times when the client says "I didn't make that change until after you made the other change" and I pull out the drawing and say "no, that can't be. Its shows here that green was last Tuesday, and the orange was the Wednesday before that" My clients all know this and fear my colored editing for the days trick!!! LOL
i love black!
I am just happy to find a pen! Beggers can't be choosers. :D
We do the same thing where I work RedHedd. All of our test reports and such are signed in blue so the copies can be picked out and the original goes to the right place. Its a habbit I got into because my parents did it and now since I work for the same place *groan* the habit got worse lol!Quote:
