Aaaaaagggghhhhhhh!!!!
GOOD GRIEF!!!
There I was minding my own business - happily logging onto Pet Talk - for a Saturday morning chat - WHAT HAPPENED??????!!
No Pet Talk - NEW server - PANIC!!!!
Then it didn't know my password - did I know my password??? Errrr....NO! (By this time Don's laughing like a lunatic!)
Where's my password written down - I know I put it somewhere safe! But where's somewhere safe?! I don't remember!
Search - search - search (Don by now is saying "You've been expelled - what are you gonna do????") MORE PANIC!!
Then my Guardian Angel pointed me the right way - and there was my password - RELIEF!!
There was my cuddly blankie (PT) safe and sound - waiting for me with a big grin!
Thank Goodness!! Need a cuppa now to recover :D :D

Lynne, I almost went the PANIC route too! I had to log in, and couldn't remember if I wrote down my password! I looked and finally found a little piece of paper with it written down. I'll join you in a cuppa.;)

If someone does NOT remember his or her password, they should email [email protected] and he can send them a new password.
Paul will be shutting down the server briefly again early this afternoon to move it to a separate hard drive of the new server. This should make it even faster. No panic necessary ...

PT addicts can't help but to panic... it's like taking a bottle away from a hungry baby!

OMG, I done the same thing! When I did remember my password I typed it in wrong! I was ready to hit the panic button, then couldn't find my panic button either.
Typed it in again and such relief, it worked!
Now I am sitting here drinking my coffee, like I do EVERY morning when I wake up. COFFEE and PET TALK just go together so well when you first crawl out of bed in the morning!!!

hey fellow crybabies....

LOL! How can you all forget your passwords to PT? That's something you should NEVER forget. ;)
I log on every time I come to PT, just so I never forget the password. My fingers are so used to typing it to get on PT. ;)

Re: hey fellow crybabies....
I felt every one of them this morning!

Aahhh - thats the problem PCB - I only type the first letter of my user name - and it cleverly fills in the rest - so I never actually type my password - which is a load of numbers!!
:D :D

Lynne and David P, you should have made that a hot-tub instead of a cuppa, I was ready to JUMP into it! Pop pop, fizz fizz OH what a relief it is.. to be back online with you all. HEAVY SIGH OF RELIEF

I got the shakes and beads of sweat came dripping down. I thought it was just an error MY computer was having. So, I shut it all down and tried again   I started going through serious PT withdrawal. Fortunately, I had to go to work which took my mind off of it.
Glad to see PT is back up and running like a chicken with his a$$ on fire!!!
Thanks Paul!!
