Back from Aruba *pics*

Hey everyone!!

I'm back after a week of being gone.:) Aruba was wonderful, we went snorkeling and tubing. I went parasailing and Brian went on the waverunners! Oh yeah, and we also relaxed!!

Our first wedding anniversary was on June 21st, we spent that day lounging around the pool and ocean:D

Not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow:(

Looks a lot prettier than Florida. I guess it's because of the water. It's such a pretty blue/green. I'll bet you had a blast and I'm sure you hated to get back. Looks so peaceful there.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn. We did the all-inclusive thing so the meals and drinks (yes alcoholic too), room, and airfare were all in one lump sum. It was nice not having to carry cash around for every meal!

All of the hotels seem really nice. Aruba is awesome- the weather was high 80's- lower 90's but in Aruba there is always a breeze, so you never feel the heat. (that's how people get so burned, cause you can lay out in the sun all day and never really feel it burning you) The island trees, called divi-divi trees actually grow towards the direction the wind blows.

The Tiger is named Tessa, she's about 13 years old. She used to be one of the Exxon tigers, now she lives in Aruba.

Yes, the kitties were so happy to see us back. Neko has been hanging all over us ever since!

Thanks for the info, neko1. It looks like a beautiful place. I'm thinking Aruba for maybe our 25th anniversary :eek: That is 4 years away. Plenty of time to save. Maybe even go sooner.

I loved your album. All the pictures came out so good. I can not get over the ocean....so blue...it reminds me of the water in St. Lucia...where you can be in the water and still see your feet. Not like in New England where you put your feet in the water and that is the last you see of them until you come back out.

The closest I've been to a place like that, is Dominican Republic. pretty good too. :)
