Awww, what a beautiful Husky girl you are, dear Honey!!! It hurt me so to see your cut:( But so happy to know you're being smothered with love and kisses!!! And like my Husky Cody, I see you're blowing that winter coat!!!:eek: Hugs and kisses to you sweetheart!

lol I had the brush out this morning but her body is coverd in cuts and scabs so I can only brush the surface very very gently although I did just a ball of hair from barly touching her with the brush lol

What a beauty! All she needs is some TLC and some cleaning up and I think she'd be sooo happy:D

Have you found out if she belongs to the people that you heard about?

theres a good chance that honey belongs to them, they lost there siberian during a blizzard in febuary, they miss her terrably, and said she was the best dog they ever had. they are meeting us at the training hall tonight. even if she is not theres my mom said they can have her anyway cuz she cant stay here :rolleyes: anyway I hope Honey is their dog

I hope she belongs to them too. It would be so wonderful for them to be reunited after so many months.
I hope even if she isn't theirs they take her.

lol my hair is exactly the same colour :p litterly we can hold our hair togeth and you cant tell the difference(both natural too)

well unfortinatly Honey is NOT Roxey. the lady REALLY REALLY wanted to take her but her husband said no way :( my mom says she just does not have the time for the work it takes to clean her up and quarenteen her from our dogs etc.. but me and steph(the friend in the pic) are very willing to to take care of her and clean her up. I personally am afraid of ticks lol steph however is not, and will gladly take them off and kill em. plus Honey REALLY likes steph and me, she started howling after we left this morning after trying to follow us. she is a doll, its storming tonight so she is sleeping in the bathroom instead of outside, she is only allowed in the bathroom for in the house, otherwise its outside(the ticks, and quarinteen everyone said it looks like she was attacked by a cyote(I cant seem for the life of me remeber how to spell that..) and if she was she was obviously bitten so we need to quarenteen her from our dogs for now just in case) anyway the lady said she is going to ask her friends that live on farms and see if someone can take her, if she could have though she would have taken her in a heartbeat :(

Too bad she wasn't Roxy. THat would have been a great story! I hope she finds a good home though.

She's so pretty and has such a great personality that I've no doubt she'll find a new, wonderful forever home soon. You guys are great for taking her in and taking care of her until you can find someone to take her. :)

Oh that is too bad she has not found her home yet. I hope if she was attacked by another animal that she was given a rabies shot by her previous owners.
If I lived closer I would take her. She is such a doll!

woohoo! and update for the Honey gal! Ursala cant take her(shes not allowed, but she wanted too) but she will help out in anway she can, she offerd to pay Honeys vet bills and what not. and a lady on the sask showdogs list offered to help get her all cleaned up, she she gets to detick and groom Honey hopefully this evening, Honey is going to the vet today, she is being posted on rescue sites etc.. it seems everyone wants to help Honey!

Too bad Honey was not Roxey. I'm glad everyone is pitching in to help her! She's very beautiful. :)

the more and more I look at the one big wound on Honeys side the more and more I am thinking she tangled on a farmers property and go shot, cuz there aint no way that thats a bit, its in her side deep and round.
