Mari, you are so beautiful and so special! Why anyone would leave you behind is beyond me. My Pepe was also a "leave-behind" - he was Cat of the Day on Dec. 17, 2004. He's 18 years old now.

That is one reason , why a lot of Apartment Buildings , do not like Pet Owners , as there are the Idiots , to factor in , and The Super , has enough to do , without having to rehome cats , that were left behind! But Maris was so lucky , to get a New Furr Ever Home , and A New , If Cranky friend! Your tale of rescue brought tears to my eyes, cutie...:) It was so heartwarming to learn that such an beautiful, innocent, gentle little furry one is now safe and sound in the loving arms of a devoted family! I don't think a kitty could hope for a more loving family and a family couldn't hope for a more lovable and loving furkid! You're simply precious, beautiful Mari!

Maris, you are a beautiful little girl. I think you have so many nicknames because you have so many colors! My boy Bailey also likes to eat plastic bags - a BAD habit. Maris, you are a lucky girl to find such a loving family, especially after those awful people abandoned you. It sounds like Chiquita was settling into a sedentary lifestyle until you moved in. You will keep her young with your kittenish playfulness. I hope you had a wonderful day and lots of treats!

Dearest, most beautiful Maris, there are so many knothead pet owners out there; you had the misfortune to run afoul of some of them. Now, though, you have found love and security with your new family. My girlcat, Dinah Lee, also was an abandoned pet, left in an apartment at six months old when her young knothead owners divorced and moved out in the middle of the night. One hopes they are miserable about it now, but I doubt it. May you have a long, healthy and happy life, sweet girl!
