I have just been informed that I missed one of my granddogs birthdays. Dakota Nicole turned 2 yesterday (June 2). Her mom and dad are still up here visiting but they were definitely thinking of you yesterday! Here are some pictures of Dakota when they first got her.

I too wish they could have brought the dogs along but their SUV is just not big enough for 3 dogs and a baby and all the stuff you need for a baby! Dakota might have fit in the back but the other dogs wouldn't have had much room at all!

Oh, yes, each of Christy's dogs have a middle name - Dakota Nicole, Destiny Ann, and Sierra Sue!

We tried that but the only two sounded right was Dazzi Mae and Taggert Dale (Remember he is just like my son and my son's middle name is Dale). I mean what would you put with Oreo? and Jack - Jacky Whacky? adn Snoopy - Snoopy Woopy?

I am sure Dakota will get lots of spoiling when Mom and dad get home!

Diana seems to have forgotten that when she talked me into getting Jack she promised that he would be my dog and that I could rename him if I wanted to whatever I wanted. So his full name is John Deere Jack as I like and have a couple of old John Deere tractors. He just goes by his middle name. He even has a John Deere bandana he wears from time to time. How quicky she forgot. Happy Birthday Dakota Nicole!!!

How quickly I forget???? How about the man who was going to take HIS John Deere Jack to Florida with him??? But that's okay five dogs to take care of, a house to take care of, a yard to mow, my flower gardens to be weeded and cared for, the ornamental ponds to be kept up, AND 25 years of stuff to be gone through so the house can be sold - not much for SUPERWOMAN!!!!

Dear Dakota, mommy and daddy are on their way home now. They are in Mississippi visiting with your Grandma there and should be headed home in just a few days.

Thanks everybody! I'll be sure Dakota knows of all the well wishes just as soon as we get home! I'm sure they'll jump for joy as we walk in the door as I know they miss us as much as we miss them! And yes, I'll be sure to get lots more pics of all 3 girls when we get home, and some of Jasmine with them, and do my best to post them when I can!!!!!!!!!
