Tuna and Pokey are sick

This morning Pokey and Tuna were sneezing a little so we called and made them an appointment at the vet for Friday morning. This afternoon we noticed that Tuna had blood in his mucus. So the vet was able to push up their visit for tomorrow afternoon. They are both still eating like little pigs and drinking plenty of water. They also still have tons of energy, so hopefully they aren't too sick. I hope that this time Tuna will be a little better behaved at the vets. When we went last week for their checkup Tuna was a little nawtee. Please send some good wishes that they get better soon.

Awwwww, poor little things. It's such a worry when your furbabies are sick. Prayers on the way.

I hope it's nothing serious! Maybe just a little R&R, and, some basic meds will be all they need.....keeping my fingers crossed for Pokey and Tuna!

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear they are sick. I'm sure it's a cold or URI and will be easily treatable. Good wishes and prayers on the way for the cute little boogers. Keep us posted.

Oh No! I hope that they will be very well behaved at the white coats and that they only have a little cold.

Keep them nce and warm by snuggling with them all night and give them lots of kisses from me!

Aw, Poor Wittle Tuna and Pokey! I am hoping it is minor, and they will be given the pink stuff to clear it all up.

Poor Tuna and Pokey!!!

The visit to the whitecoats went well. Tuna actually behaved himself! He said that Tuna has some kind of virus (I can't remember the name of it) But he had a huge red spot on his tounge. They both got an antibiotic shot and were sent home with some more antibiotics. Tuna going an oinment to put on his tounge twice a day. This morning the swelling on his tounge was almost completely gone. Pokey is still sneezing up a storm, so hopefully they will both be 100% back to normal soon.

I'm glad to hear that Tuna behaved himself at the vets.
I'm more than glad to hear that they don't have anything serious and it can be treated with antibiotics.
Now Tuna and Pokey, take your medicine like good little kitties so that you can get well and be back to your little selves in no time.:)

What a shame that they are both sick but I'm so glad to know that it is nothing too serious and antibiotics will take care of it. I have never heard of the red spot on the tongue with swelling. What is that and is it contagious? Do they both have the same thing?
I hope Tuna and Pokey are soon back to fun and happy little kittens and feeling 100% all better! We want more pictures!!!
