They are so cute and fuzzy! I'll bet it gets cold there. Our horses here don't have too much cold weather so they don't get nearly that fuzzy. I've got a pretty cup and saucer that I got from Iceland that has one of those horses on it.

What wonderful horses, Esster! :) The two on the side seem to be in love with the dark one. :D Do you know how old they are?

Sorry, I don't know how old they are.. We just were driving and we met those horses with their owners... I just know that white one is called Haukur...

Beautiful ^_^ Aren't icelandic horses the ones with the really smooth gait? I've always wanted to ride one, I've seem all these shows on them. But I'm sure I'm probably too tall T-T

Aren't they gorgeous? My Goddaugher has fallen in love with this particular breed, and there is a stable in Wisconsin which has some which she has riden.

Slleipnir - yup, these are those horses, they have those gaits as *normal* horses - walk, trot and center and then two extra gaits *tolt* and *flying pace* .. I think if you'll search in yahoo or google some info about icelandic horse you'll find very many info about their gaits...
