Is there an animal on your lap?

Whenever I am at the computer there is always an animal in my lap. Right now it is Ripley, but Andy and Trevor too take turns sitting in my lap when I am at the computer. Sometimes there might even be a combination of two :eek: trying for lap space, but unfortunately I only have room for one. :D I never really gave it a second thought until my husband was mentioning the other day that the furkids are so spoiled that they are even in my lap when I am typing. I am wondering how unusual is that? Am I the only one?

I usually ALWAYS have one or both of my little Ratties out with me. Except for now because they don't want to come out because they're getting their beauty sleep... Not that they ever need it :)

Funny you should ask, Pam. Annie just jumped down from my lap. It is a morning ritual to have Rascal on my lap too. He is a big boy, so typing is out of the question. I just sit and read when he is on my lap.

Yes there is! :) Tiny is in my jacket and Sunny is in my lap. and Jojo is on my feet.:)

They are always one or all with me. :D

Popped in for a quick look and here comes Edwina. She sits on my lap much of the time I am on the computer. Of course she expects her ears rubbed which means one handed typing! Eddie walks on the desk and talks to me but he isn't a lap sitter yet!

The come up by jumping on the back of my chair (pointing out my very poor posture -- sitting on the edge of the chair.) Sometimes when I am deep in concentration it is a start!

Mickey is a bit big for my lap but he usually comes around me when I'm on the computer. :) He'll pass by and let me know he's here (usually wants a quick scratch) and then either wanders off somewhere else or lays by me and falls asleep. :)

:( Blueberry never sits on my lap or anything...I wish I had a lap cat:p

Well, both my pups are just a little bit too big to sit in my lap unless I'm on the couch. :p

Moose will usually come over and plop his head right in my lap though. Zoey normally just plops down next to the chair. :)

I use a laptop, so no room for anyone to get in my lap, but Abbey sure does try!!!
She starts with one paw on the keyboard, then licks my hands, then sneaks her other paw up, and before I know it, she's right next to me on the couch.

Popcorn's on my shoulder right now, and Muffin's on my lap. They're always with me when I'm at the computer.........either *on* me, or on the desk. :D

Molly's in my lap....sort of. She thinks she can fit, but in reality she's a 70 some pound beast. :p Daisy's under the computer desk, sound asleep. :)

No lap-pets here! If I was at my mom's, Charlie *might* be, but he's still a little scared of people, unless I have treats! But when I go over there tonight, I'll tell ya!

I WISH I had a lap dog... a little Poodle.... but no, not lap doggy right now. Sadie's too big to sit on my lap, But she lays right next to me!:)

Megan LOVES to be on my lap or just being anywhere where I am. Right now she's sleeping on the floor near me. When I let Ilio (my cat) in my room, he likes to be on my lap too. :)

Hanna is on mt lap right now. It is hard tp type like this.

Yes! I have an animal on my lap right now. His name is Jaden. He's my six year old son. lol. I have a cat's butt (Raven :rolleyes: ) in my face right now too. Does that count?

Ha! No way! The ratties always climb all over the keyboard and the desk and pee on everything! LOL! Once in awhile they'll stay in my lap though.

Gigi looooooves to be on my lap all the time. :)

Emily is kinda big for a lap dog (even with my big lap) but she tries occasionally anyways....LOL

I've got a Jimmy on my lap as we speak, well as I type. Jimmy is one of my cats.

CP is on my lap right now:)

Yep, they fight over who gets to be in my lap! Right now it's Millie, but in just a few they'll switch and it'll be Chester. This usually goes on for the first 1/2 hour or so that I'm on! :D

Good question, Pam! My lap is empty right now, but many times there is a cat (Butter or Mimi), but never both at the same time, thank goodness! :eek: And when I close the office door and open the bird cage, Roger loves to walk on the back of the chair, my shoulder and all over the keyboard! :)

The only animall that is around me when i'm on the computer is Emma, and I don't think she would be the best pet to have on my lap. :eek:
