In need of a sig!

I really need a new siggy!! I will have 20-30 new pictures TOMORROW!! :D

And if anyone would like to pick one/a few to make me a sig with, I would LOVE it ;)

I know lots of people here have some great programs to make siggy's with that can make you a really good one. I don't have PSP or anything with animation but I'd like to make one for you too, just to have also. I want to start doing stuff like that. lol :)

Just be sure the enw image is under 25k - your current one is much too large, file-size wise at 46K - the limit is 25k.

Mine or the one she has now. I was thinkin of makin a longer one, kinda like the one I am using now. You think that will be ok?

The one she has now. But yours, dappledoxie, is also way too big, now that I checked. The image with Rebel ia 38k all by itself. When you add the others, which are 2.7k(legolas), 2.9k(iloveanimals) and 15.7k (layout) you are at a total of 59.3K - so over twice the maximum! Please remedy!

How can your sig line be too big? I think it's fine as long as you don't have to scroll sideways to see it. Mine's pretty big, dappledoxie's is only 10,000 bytes bigger then mine. And Dog Lovers is like 47,000 bytes. Why does it matter how big they are? This site doesn't have to host them, just support the addy for it.

It's Karen and Paul's site---they make the rules.
It's also for people with really slow connection, having big signatures can crash the computers, and take forever to load.

Oh, well i'll just make mine a smaller file size then

I resized it and I think that helped. hehe

Is there somewhere that states this besides just finding out in a post? I looked in the FAQ section when I first joined and saw no size regulations on sigs and so on. I've looked around in the profile creation too where you put in a sig and there I would figure it would have the regulation if there were any, I didn't see anything. It might be less confusing for people if this was put somewhere more obvious :)

The size is not really how big the sig LOOKS its how big it actually IS. ;) You can right click on an image to see the file size.

A person could have a pic that looks very large and actually be much smaller in file size than another persons tiny animation.

You also have to remember that the file sizes add up. You may have 3 images that are all under the 25k limit each, but those 3 added together may be twice the size of the limit.

Exactly. Amy's sig of Nebo is 13.1 KB. Mine is 19.3, but it is much larger LOOKING than hers. Mine LOOKS over the limit, but since the file's small it doesn't take forever to load.
