Max is having surgery Feb 10th...Please keep him in your prayers.

Thank you everyone for all of your prayers. Max is scheduled for surgery Tuesday Feb. 10th.

His blood work came back good but he had a little ear infection that the Dr. wanted cleared up before surgery. So, we are taking the antibiotics and praying we can get this over with as soon as possible.

His biopsy did come back as cancer but the Dr is pretty sure that he will have many more years ahead of him after his surgery.

Just wanted to update everyone and ask that once again you keep MAX in your prayers especially on Tuesday.

Thanks for the update--I realized I forgot to ask when the surgery was scheduled for!!
You KNOW Max will be in my prayers, and I know everyone else here will keep him in their prayers.
He has such a special place in our hearts, and I know he has a lot of life in him--they way he and Jada played when we had her there at Christmas is proof enough!!!!!!

Max will most definitely be in my prayers. Be sure to keep a positive outlook! As I mentioned before, my 10-year-old collie had to go through surgery for cancer removal too, and he made it through just fine. I'm sure Max will too! Your love and all the prayers will pull him through.

We all hope Max comes through great and has many happy years ahead. I know how special our old dogs can be. It makes me so happy to watch Duke acting like a puppy sometimes. We'll be thinking about him and let us know how he's doing.

Let's also say a prayer for my dad during this time: Lisa and my sister are going to Florida this afternoon, for a cheerleading competition this weekend--my dad and brother have to stay home with the dogs, and my dad has to change the bandage on Max's tail every day!!
