One? Meh, that's too hard. :p
Golden Retrievers then. Sorry Molly, nothing personal. ;)
Yes, one. :p
This is just too hard..ay...why do you do this to me, Cater? :p
Okay...so just one?
Doberman :):D
he he :)
Siberian husky .. Possibly red&white :D
Whichever needed a home first!
Exactly!:DQuote:

But one breed....Hmmmm....toughy.....Id have to go for a giant schnauzer :p
A rescued Sheltie! (Obvious no?) Preferably a blue merle or sable.
Siberian huskies of course. ;)
:D Good answer, Kay.
Siberian Huskies!
Let's just hope none of my dogs are browsing pet talk any time soon, I wouldn't want any hurt feelings;)
It's very close--I love beagles so much, and can never restist one, but I think I would have to pick
SHIBA INU
That's just too hard. It feels almost like choosing between Tasha and Tommy and I just can't! I love them both so dearly. But if I were getting another dog and had purebreds to choose from, I think I'd go for another golden with hopes of him or her becoming a therapy dog. :)
As much as I am intrigued with some day having a pug of my own, I would have to say poodle. I have had so many that I just feel completely comfortable with this breed. ;)
Any great big huge mutt.
Easy ... smooth fox terrier! My perfect dog. :)
There are so many wonderful breeds that I like, large, medium, and small, but my heart will always belong to the chihuahua. I will always have one in my home.
not a doubt in my mind, border collies. real true blue border collies! either smooth or medium coat.
That is a tough one. I like so many breeds, weimeraners, chocolate labs, jack russells, but I guess i would go with Airedale. Jack is such a sweetie and loves to be loved so much. However, I probably would do a KayAnn

and go to the shelter or one of the rescues and take what's there!
If there were no more homeless animals and I could only have one breed of dog? West Highland White Terrier. :)
A large mutt. They're the best!
I LOVE Golden Rertievers, but I also really like Huskys. Mmmmm....
I'll go with Golden Retrievers.;)
Hmmm now that's a tough one. I'd have to say though that if I could have only one breed it'd have to be Papillions...yes that's plural but you said only one breed, you didn't say only one dog of that breed ;) There's just something about paps, they're like big dogs in small dogs bodies or as my friends and I like to say, they are minature border collies.
Wow, one breed only, eh? There's so many breeds I've not had exposure too, that I'd love to... Goldens, Corgis, Greyhounds, Whippets, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Border Terriers, Welsh Springer Spaniels, Shelties... And I'd love to have another Cairn one day. So I dunno if I'm really a one breed person. But if I must chose, I gotta go with the Smooth Collie. So versatile. You get so much from just one breed, can't imagine not having a Smoothie in my life.
Par...
DEFINATELY an Aussie:D A blue merle aussie:D I love them, they're just gorgeous. I think they're my favorite breed.
I also like Samoyeds, Goldens, Chow chows, Papillons...I guess I like most long hair dogs:p But I want my first dog to be an Aussie:D
A Labbie!! :D
GSD:D
I have fell in love with the Siberian Huskies, so that is what I would want.
Mutt....lots of choices that way!
Its so hard to pick...I would love to own so many other breeds. But I would diffently have to go with the....
Doberman Pinscher
:D :D :D
I always say they are itty bitty shelties with big stick up ears ;)Quote:

Did you go to the dog show this weekend? There was a papillon specialty and there were 58 paps entered. My boss was showing her pap in it.
Great Dane--a fawn colored one to be more exact
I was there today actually helping with the flyball demo. I didn't get to see the specialty though, I was walking around downstairs with some friends looking at the toller puppy that took BOB.Quote:

Bedlington terriers. Pit Bulls are a very close second.
A mutt for sure
Awwww, only one breed :( Then the Border Collie (Working Border)
But only....orginally posted by micki76

With me it would definitely be a mutt. You get the best of both worlds - great temperament and long life. :D
I would get a mutt. The odd thing is, I don't have any mutts, but I love them. I know that if I wanted to get another dog, I would want a mixed breed.
It would be a very tough disicion if I had to choose a purebred. I would probably stick with a Samoyed *loves Prince so much* or maybe a Sibe. I know what my mom would go for- P.U.G.S. No question about that!:D And my dad would go with labs. I love so many breeds, I can't decide!
a Mutt! :D
If it were a purebred, I'd chose a greyhound. That's the only purebred dog I could ever see myself owning in the future (I'd like to adopt an ex-racer one day).
