Reasons why inside is ‘in’ and outside is ‘out.
#1 this time of year the backyard is muddy (and the concrete part is much too hard on these old knees). As for the front garden, much the same, the grass is boggy and muddy.
And even in the nice weather reason #2 applies.

Bob is a bit of nightmare to brush and/or cut, I have to be very devious! I won’t go into the different methods I use, but I have to be able to get him into one room, or smallish space, then get the muzzle on him (to stop him grabbing my hand). Get him to lie down, then wrestle him over on to one side and do whatever to that side, then over to do the other side. That’s why the cuts I do are never very good, it is kind of hard to get everything even! :D However he will sit quite nicely for his back and ears to be done (with the muzzle still on) which is something I suppose. :)
