Try imagestation, it is free and you can get the larger pics from there. Just sign up at imagestation and upload your pics there. There are others I think.
Anyway, the pics of your new chihuahua is very cute, looks like a black and tan? Is it a boy or a girl? What is its name?
I love the chihuahua breed, they are such loyal breeds.
Congratulations on your new puppy. We like pics, so post plenty of those, so we may watch your puppy grow up.

I'm not a super computer person so I don't know anything about doing pictures. I get mine put on disk at Walmart. The disk comes with a program that I can resize the pictures with.

I can see in the pictures that your little chihuahua is very cute. I have a chihuahua, too. Her name is Tiny. They can really make you feel like you have a small baby!:)

I have three or four of my own, can't keep up with all of them, I have two here that belongs to the grandkids and my daughter. So yeap, that makes four. Had to take a head count. LOL.

i took him to shower today morning and he was shivering after shower, is that normal?
i used hair dryer to dry his body tho.

I don't know how to paper-train one. I take mine out on a leash, she loves the outdoors anyway.
Dogs seem drawn to use carpets, I don't know why. Tiny has never peed in the house. I have an older dog that goes out, and Tiny thinks she should be like big sister. Jojo is the one that housebroke Tiny. I don't have carpet in the rooms where they stay. Maybe that is why they don't do their thing in the house.
I had one dog who didn't pee in the house unless the door to the carpeted room was left open.
Maybe a room without carpet and some paper put down on the floor,would get him use to start using paper.
I have a friend that uses a hairdryer on hers, his name is Chico, and he loves it and even wants his teeth flossed when she is flossing her teeth.
I think I would crate him for awhile, and until he gets the hang of it. Always show him the paper when he first wakes up of a morning and after he eats, they go by smell a lot, so if their smell is on the paper, then you should be able to get him to use it. If he doesn't use the paper first time, put him back in the crate, which should not be very big. If you do catch him doing his duty in the floor, then just say no in a firm voice and put him on the paper.
Always watch that little guy when he out playing, and don't slack off on his training. He will get the idea after a while. Ann, has her little Tiny House broke so well, of course she takes Tiny outside. She could probably give you better pointers about training than I could. My pups do pretty good on paper, but Buffy loves to go outside. LOL.

That sounds like a good idea about maybe putting something up in front of the paper so he can't get off, like some kind of barrier, a small bathroom might be the answer, just have paper all over, I heard one time where somebody was housebreaking the pup, and they started out with the paper covering the whole floor of the small room, and as the pup started using the paper, and got better at it, they would remove one block, and then another, and soon the pup was using the paper. Sounds like a good idea. I never tried it but it is worth a try.

another question, he likes so bite anything he sees. even my fingers, but it doesnt hurt. so should i buy a lil toy for him to bite ?
but if i do so, will he bite people when he grows up?
is that normal? maybe because he's still a baby likes to bite anything?

Sometimes a Chihuahua is very protective over the people they love, and most take up with one person, love the whole family, but will attach themselves to that one person. They are amazing pets, I have even heard of them grieving themselves to death, because of the loss of their human.
It would be good to get him a toy to play with, afterall he is just a baby. You said something about him trembling, after he had a bath. Some Chihuahuas will shiver, even when they are not cold. A lot of them just have it in their personalitys to shiver. Nervousness. LOL.
These little fellows are very brave, and will take on any size dog to protect the people they love, Lord help us if they were the size of a Doberman. My first one hated my daddy, it was so funny, she was so tempermental, she only accepted her own family. Your going to love owning a chihuahua, they are indeed very loyal, and great little lappuppies. Mine sleeps with me. Cuddles right up to me under the cover.

Puppies biting is mostly a teething thing. Get him some small rawhide "bones" and chewtoys for dogs. Little cheap stuffed animals and small rubber balls work good, too. Show him you are happy when he chews on these. Dogs really want to please you!
When he bites, kind of tap him hard on the nose and say "NO!" in a loud voice. This takes a while to get comfortable doing, but they need to know when they do something that makes you unhappy. They really do not want to displease.
And chewing gets less after 6 or 8 months. At least that's what the books say!:)

I have always liked Chihuahuas colored like that.
I can't even imagine having one that little! It must be a lot of fun.
I was afraid to get one because bigger animals in the house might step on it, or play too ruff with it.

OMG! Words can't even describe how cute Turco is. He's a doll! I love his markings.
I was thinking he looked like a teacup as they call them, I bet he has a really large softspot on his head? He has a face that says teacup, I don't think he will get very big at all.
Keep posting pictures on this little guy, I would like to see, how he looks at about six or seven months. He reminds me of a little guy, that a friend of mine adopted from me, her daughter wanted her to give her mom for Christmas, he was long haired, had that cute little baby doll face, short legs, and when he was born, his tail wasn't even an inch long. I think he weighs about a 1 pound and a half now. I need to get her to get me some pics of him.
When they are this small you really have to watch those little heads, I have always imagined seeing Chihuahuas all wearing these little helmets on their heads. Some of them need them, especailly around small childen. Seen a kid pick up a book and kill a little teacup one time, didn't take that big a bump either. It happened so fast, I just couldn't believe it. So be careful with that little guy, he is very precious. I love chihuahuas, they are such a loyal and devoted pet.
Put a helmet on that child!!!! Just kidding, I wish they made helmets for them, lol. I would have all my babies wearing one.
They are such brave little fellows too, they think they can take a big dog down, like I said if they were the size of Dobies, or bigger, that would be scary. LOL.

trayi52 had the right idea about the paper training. I did just that with my B.J. years ago. We covered the whole kitchen floor with paper and as a time when by we just removed some paper till there was only paper at the back door. He always went to the paper. This made it easier on us at the time to finally train him to go outside. I don't train that way in more but it did work great for B.J.
And yes, buy him some chew toys for the bitting and make sure thats the only thing you let him get away with chewing. Don't give him an old sock or shoe for exsample or else he will always think it's ok to chew them. He needs to learn to only chew his toys or you might wake up one morning, like I did to a couch pillow stufffing all over the floor and the tv remote with teeth marks in it. :eek:

I am like amoore, I would like to see pictures posted of turco quite often, and be able to watch him grow. By the looks of him, there won't be much on his part, I was just looking at that picture with him under the couch with his tail curled around the bottom of the couch, that little curly tail is so cute along with his baby doll face.
But I would like to see how the expression on his face changes. So keep making the pictures and by all means keep posting the pics you take.

i went to a trip for 3 days and today he had a shower when i got back.
i'd like to shower him once a week, is that too often? cause he's nervous after shower, so im not sure if that's right to shower too often.

Turco is so sweet looking! That is the prettiest chihuahua I have ever saw! ( Don't tell Tiny I said that) Turco is my favorite color for a chihuahua.

I have a 12 weeks Dachshund, Gigi. :) She is pretty much paper trained when she came home with us. Though she still has accidents from time to time (TWO this morning! :(). Every morning, I lead her to her paper and tell her to pee, when she is done I will praise her, then she gets her breakfast. And I have to keep a very close eye on her just to be sure she pee on the right place. And if accidents happened just say "no" and put her back on the paper. You could put the paper towel with your puppy's smell on the newspaper so the paper has smell on it, that's what I do. And I make sure I praise her and give her treats when she is doing it correctly. Gigi likes to chew too, I just gave her lots of toys... and I tell her "no" if she is biting me or things she should not.
Well, I am still trying to train her well, so I don't have too much advise to give you. Hope this may help you.
He certainly is going to be a tiny little guy!!! He is so cute, I bet when he walks, his back half bounces up. I love his coloring. I am glad you posted some more pictures. You keep posting those pictures, so we can see how he is doing.
It does look like he is going to be a tiny one, just looking at that face and the size of his head. He is indeed a cutie.
