Phred I don't know when I have enjoyed a series of photos so much. These pictures are terrific and I loved your album. I hope this is the beginning of lots and lots of pictures of your two now that you have a new camera. What beautiful scenery too but of course the dogsters stole the show! :)

Congratulations on your digi-cam, Phread. Haven't we all been waiting a long time for that!!! ;) It's a very good choice you made there, Canon is known for it's good lenses. :) Now, it's manual reading time I guess. :eek:

Looks like Cinder and Smoke had a blast in the lake - and WOW! what good swimmers they are!! And such good buddies too! :D The picture of them both posing is just the BEST EVER!! Fit for next years doggie calender indeed! Also LOVE the 8 propellors pic and the dives!

Wonderful pics! I love the ones of the dogs in mid dive. I think it's Smokey that reminds me of Duke. He looks like a lighter version of him. Looks like you had a fabulous time. I'm hoping to get to the dog beach again really soon. I love it there.

Phred, thats sucks about it being an on lead only park but as it is the law it must be obeyed ;) and glad to hear you have the ropeies all worked out so no-one gets hurt.

Knowing how challenging it is to handle one dog on a long line, I am in awe of the maneuvering going on for your swimming adventure. Bet there were a few blurring pics that went into the trash can of that new digi.

Dad needs a big pat on the back for making such a special day for the the furkids. I didn't see any vittles on that picnic table, so I can imagine there were some HUNGRY DOGS (including Dad) at the end of the day.

Thanks for letting us come along and enjoy some of the beautiful fall weather.

Da US Army Engineers Guyz alluz pull da plug inna Dams an let da waddur run downa drain - gotta make room fur da Winter snow anna Spring rainz. An "our" docks dont float (Dad sez they're solid Konkreet) - so it'z a LOOOONG :eek: way down to da waddur.

We headed off to anudder lake wiff floatin dockz atta boat launch. Lil bit more waddur - but allua Boat Drivurs were tryin ta get wun more day onna Lake in... Reel *pain-inna-butt* when ya gotta dodge a buncha peepil that keep gettin inna way onna Swim Dock (BOAT Dock)! :p
Hadda Great Tyme til da SunBall went home urlee an it got a bit nippie!

Now this week da Weathur Guy been promissin gonna be almost HOT ober da weekend...
An Dad's been checkin da Army Engineers' Lake Levels = not gud...
But Mosquito Creek Reservoir iz onlee down a foot anna half frum "summer pool"! Dad sez it's a bit of a drive; but we'll go check er out.
Hadda pick up our Bud - Miz Cali - uppa street (we'z Dawggie, Kat, an Horsey-sittin fur two daze), an we all headed up North...

WOW! Whadda set-up!! :cool:
NICE Marina - lotta boat docks (covered wiff Sea-Gulz), LOTTA waddur;
and REEL NICE boat launchin rampz... Looong docks an onlee
a coupla feet *down* to da waddur!

I wish I could find a place like that to take Jake & Max! It looks like they had a blast. I'll bed they slept 2 whole days after all that fun!

We settled fur a nice Walk Inna Park...
