what is your favourite flower?

I really enjoy finding our more about everyone on PT, and by finding our their favourite things, that gives me more of a picture of everyone.

I think I would have to say Carnations and Roses, and lilies, how about you?

Roses, and violets, anything that like... changes colors within the petals, ya know?

These orange flowers in my mom's garden...any idea what it is? I find them so cute and pretty. :)

I love *all* flowers.

My aunt in Michigan has a HUGE garden for a back yard, i mean HUGE! I could sit out on the swing and admire her flowers all day.

Carnations!! They last a long time and are also January's birth flower!!:)

my favorite flower is the red rose just blooming out of bud... I love it :D:D..

Roses, Carnations, Gardenia, Tulips, Daisies, Daffodils.................heck, I love all flowers............but roses, carnations, and gardenia are my favorites. :p

I also lovve daffadiles, begonias, sunflowers and I really like orchids! Gotta love them orchids. Those are my favorites but I love all sorts of flowers. We actually have some bulbs in the front that are starting to sprout! :D

carole i grow so many varieties it would be hard to decide . i guess i would have to say the daffodil , because it is such a nice introduction to spring . the fragrant varieties are my favorite ones . the daylilly isa beautiful flower too , its just hard for me to say ,what flower i love the best . i enjoy growing and taking care of them . im glad that some one in here sees them as pets too . they do take a lot of love and care . thankyou for a nice subject , but i get carried away when it comes to flowers and pets , because they are my favorite things to talk about .:D

Lilacs and Lilies of the Valley. And pink roses.

My favorite are roses and pansies. I think Pansies are cute they look like they have little faces:)

My favorite flowers are irises. But I also like all of the other spring bulbs--tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, narcissus.

I loooooove lilacs because they smell so good. Too bad they don't last very long.

I can't remember the name of them, but my aunt used to grow them all the time. We used to go down to the pot in the morning, and we'd find a bud. When you squeezed it, it's pop off! lol, and it flew! Scared me to death every time.

I love all flowers too, but my alltime favorites are "freesia's"! They smell so very well too:)

I love daisies!!! I think probably because they are my moms favorite flower too.

once my husband was out cutting grass and there is some weed that looks like daisies.. He picked ALL of them out of the yard before he cut the grass and put them in a vase for me... It was so funny cause he didn't know they weren't weeds... BUT I LOVED HIM FOR IT~!!!!:)

probably crocuses. Because they are the first flower of the year and they give me hope that winter will be over and spring will return.

My next favorite would be sunflowers - because they're typically the last flowers of the year.

Other than that, I love what ever flower is in season.:D I also like low maintence flowers like bulbs and summer annuals like marigolds because I'm not a very good gardener.

I love lillies--especially stargazers--I had some in my wedding bouquet. I love roses too, of all colors, but especially the purple ones--they seem a bit more rare.

Sunflowers too, they always make me happy!!

Orchids, gardenias and magnolia blossoms. Oh, and orange blossoms.

I guess I'd have to say Roses, I just love them...there are so many different wonderful colors:)

Roses (any color) and lilacs.

Peonies and antique roses are among my all time favorites, but I love all flowers; especially if they are fragrant. I'm very proud of my all white "moonlight" scented garden:) It appears to shimmer, especially under a full moon! Lilacs are another favorite. I read a quote once, "If memories had a fragrance, it would be a lilac!" And I love the smell of marigolds, when you crush the stem or the flower head. It takes me back to my childhood! I know some people hate the smell!:D

Daffodils and pansys would be my first choices, but I love many flowers.

I love to get Roses from my husband, especially of they are arrnged with "babies breath".

When I was buying flowers to arrange in the house (in South Africa) I used to choose PROTEAS:

They are gorgeous, and they last for ages and then make great dried arrangements too!

I also love the smell of Jasmine!
