A little update on Binx

Well, finally, the doctor called me back this am. We have Binx's sir jury set up for 9.27.03, a Saturday morning. This is the sir jury where the doctors are going to try something a little bit different. Instead of focusing solely on the gums, they are going to go down to the bone plate, and scrape off the growth layer...the part that makes the gums grow. This will be done a small section at a time...for two reasons. First, it might not work, so, no point in doing the whole mouth, right? Second, it is painful. That part I hate. I have to say that I can see some problems with Binx eating, some problems. And, that this is worth a shot, for that reason. I pray that it works.

Sending prayers and good thoughts your and Binx's way. I hope the surjery goes along smoothly and that the pain is bearable for poor Binx.

Binx deserves this surgery to work. I will say my prayers that it does. He is too sweet to endure pain and suffering and certainly deserves to eat normally too. Poor baby!

Poor Binx. I hope he does alright. It really hurts having one of your fur babies sick. Give him a big hug from me.

Poor Mr. Binx!:( He had to go through so much in his young life. I hope the surgery works and the vet can do something to help him with the pain. I'll be thinking abouth both of you on the 27th and sending good thoughts and get well wishes in the meantime.

Binx's Sir Jury is now Friday evening, 5 pm!! He won't be spending the night, so, I am going to stay at my dad and step mom's house rather than drive the 30 minutes home.

Binx is such a fine, brave little (!) man to have to endure so much so young. Hands and paws and prayers across the miles that this might finally be the answer.

I'll notify my Johanna and all the Saint lovers, and Bruni will add her won Saintly, drooly prayers that all goes well Friday!

We'll have to have a special toast for Binx tomorrow at Dick's Place. I know that the 2 sir juns will do their best for the sir jury on friday. God will be there watching over.
