We went to the cottage this weekend. Nakita, was totally thrilled since she was able to roll around on wall to wall carpet. Here she is basking in the sun. :)

I've never seen a cat laying quite like that before.I had to look
carefully & check out where he back paws were.:) She's such a
pretty girl.

I always say the same thing when I see pics of Nakita...she is SSOOOOO beautiful! I wish there was something more to say. She is just simply one of the most beautiful creatures I have ever, ever seen! While I love my babies to pieces, there simply isn't any comparison. She is beauty, beauty, beauty, through and through.

I want a muppet........

I feel exactly the same!!!! There is nothing in the world more b-e-a-utifull than Nakita!

Right after I took these pics, I had to go over and snuggle Nakita. Sun warmed belly fur....ahhhhh! Nakita was as warm and toasty as these pics show.

But Nakita didn't find it too amusing, I wrecked her sun bathing session and I got some of my 'human' smell all over her. She started washing immediately and gave me a peeved look! *lol*

Actually when they lick themselves after we touch them it's so they can make our scent become one with their own. It reinforces a feeling of security. It's a true compliment when a cat licks itself after you've touched it. It means s/he wants your scent to be a part of his/hers.

I wonder if she'd like to holiday at my house when summer arrives here! I could promise her the sunniest window, all to herself :D
