That looks cool:cool: how'd you do it?
Woah! Neato!
I wonder how it would look if you did that to a picture of tabby cat....
You can get the negative of your picture by using a photo editing program which comes with an option to make a negative of it!
Here's the negative of Nakita, with Rob in the background holding her.
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...2/fb255096.jpg
Yeah I figured. I don't have a photo editing program, but I could use one of the school computers. In the mean time I'll enjoy looking at everyone elses "negatives"! Ooooh, Nakita looks like her fur got rubbed backwards! LOL
Oh Nakita, with violet eyes you are very special too:)
And Ms Ritzy -this looks like a tux for the tropics:D
Ooh! I can't wait to get home and try this with my fur kids' pics! :D
GREAT Thread!! LOL

K'Cee reminds me of panda bear! LOL @ Piper!!!
Oooh, how fun! KCee - that green nose - and those eyes! And the bun bun is too cute for words!
And Nikita! You are positively "artistic" in reverse mode!.... :D
Love the pics! What a cool idea tuxluvr.
I made my negatives with an option on the digital camera. :) But it's fun taking color pics and turning them into negatives with Photoshop. :D
Here's Zam cat as a Negative. :D
http://kia.cutestsandgirl.com/images...t/zam_neg2.jpg
And Kia wanted to share hers.. :)
http://kia.cutestsandgirl.com/images...c/kia_neg2.jpg
Cool Zam! I was hoping a patchwork calico would do this - Zammie looks like she is lying under a shade tree - the white spots look like dappled sunlight!
And Kia.....you would command respect - those glowing eyes!
I have Photo Shop but I couldn't find negs???? I looked in filters???? Where else would I look??Quote:

It's been a long time since I've turned a photo into a negative with Photoshop.
I use Photoshop 6 at work, btw.
Hmmmm...
Here's a nice site... maybe we'll find the answer there...
Photoshop Today

I found a simple solution in Microsoft Photo editor - You can select "negative" or in plain old MS Paint you can "invert" the colors.
Attached is a negative of one of Mitzi's "furby" pics :D (I'm playing at work ... shhhhhhhhhh!) :D
ooooh Furby looks like he/she is wearing a scarf!! how cute
Funny idea - and interesting pictures! :) Zam looks like a painting.
I did something like that with Luna a while ago, here she is:
http://www.tillyschanze.de/luna_inv.jpg
BTW, I find inverting is such an interesting option! :) I have an entire page with inverted pics on my photo website (but no cats! LOL)
Kirsten
LOL -- I call Mitzi my little Furby because she looks like one .... it's not her real name, just one of my endearing nick-names for her :DQuote:

Right! DUH! He's an organie!
I suppose what I was getting at is.... I wanted to see what Nipo would look like 'inverted.' So then Corkscrew didn't register as a Nipo-look-alike. But he is a VERY HANDSOME BOY! who I didn't mean to leave out! :D
Tootsie/tortoiseshellhttp://www.imagestation.com/picture/...a/fb24ed36.jpg
K&L Tootsies picture looks so cool!
Kater if you want me to do a negative for Nipo you can just PM me a picture.
Cool pics, and great idea Tuxluvr! :D
Here's Peanut. Love those little black tootsies and her white tail. :D Oh, and her little white "mask." :D

And I thought Tubby turned out interesting. Thought he'd be kinda boring with all his black, but he has shading. Kinda looks like Butter. :D And I love his little black locket. :D

Whoa, Bob's tounge is GREEN!!!!!!! lol;) I tried to put my pictures into my photo 'thingy', but it won't work:rolleyes: I'll see if there is anything else on the computer that might work;)

Jazz has such a creamy color to be such a solid black cat

Here's Hanna's negative:
http://home.comcast.net/~pattis_garden2/hanna_neg.jpg
The black spots on her eyes are reflections from the window behind me.
I had to do Bo too, here's Hanna and Bo.
http://home.comcast.net/~pattis_garden2/hannabo_neg.jpg
The ones of the all black cats are really interesting! You can actually see the variations in their color, whereas when they are all black, they just look black and you can't see any variations.Quote:
Here it looks like Ebby's feet are actually blacker than the rest of her leg. Like she has little black socks on that we can't normally see. Neat! :D
Although they aren't my kitties... i made them Negative in photoshop 7.

The benefit of Photoshop filters.
All of these pics are great. :) I only have Adobe Photoshop 5.0 and I don't see anything about invert or negatives.
I thought this one looked cool
