Announcement

Well, I know I haven't been on to post in a really long time and I'm sorry. Things have been so crazy since Brian's departure. Yes, he's still over in Iraq with no news to when he'll be home, but we've had some major news since the last time I really posted! Some of you are already aware of this, but, shortly after Brian's departure I found out and confirmed that we are going to be parents of a human baby too, not just our three pups! Brian has since been told the good news and we are both really excited! I have meant to make an announcement for a while now, but I haven't been on to do so! I've even gotten an ultrasound done and the pics are available in our imagestation to anybody interested:

I've also started getting the furniture for the baby including the:

Thanks everybody! At first the due date was January 13th but they think it's more like January 4th from the ultrasound. Being that the dates are so close together though, they won't change the official due date in the books though!

I wondered when you were going to announce your - our good news!!!! I am finally going to be a grandma to a real baby - not that I don't love all my grandog babies but I want to have an offspring of my children to hold and spoil - and give back to their parents. :D :D

We are all hoping and praying that Brian makes it home before the baby arrives.

Again, thank you everybody for your well wishes. To answer some of those questions, I did print off copies of the ultrasound and mail them to Brian and he loved them. He's so excited and can't wait to get home even more now! The sex was undeterminable from the ultrasound. The baby was moving around so much that night plus I was only 16 weeks and 5 days at that point. We thought it was only 15 weeks 5 days, but they changed it due to the development they saw on the ultrasound! For names, we're set on Jasmine Marie if it's a girl. If it's a boy I think we're leaning toward Dominic James but we've been back and forth trying to figure out a boys name for sure. I really like Dominic James and hope we stay with it, but I guess we'll see if we come up with something we like more!

And Amy, who knows if mom will leave you alone yet! With me in Texas still, it might not help much but it should calm her down a little, LOL! We Love You Mommy!

No way, Amy, you are older than Christy by 6 years. The longer you wait, the closer I expect those grandchildren together. Better get started soon!
