Hawaiian Cocktail
2 oz. Gin, 1/2 oz. Pineapple juice, 1/2 oz. Curacao
Stir with ice, Strain into a chilled cocktail glass
The drink sounds good, but could I have it with tequila instead? I don't like gin very much. :D
My summer has been over for a couple of weeks now. We have been in school now for 3 weeks.

Thank goodness you started this thread Richard. This has been a h*** of a week so far and I've been waiting for the Thursday one to start. I feel too new to start one myself.

1 1/2 oz. Tequila, Orange Juice, Grenadine
Pour Tequila & Orange juice in a Collins glass over ice, Trickle grenadine on top

1/2 oz Sour Apple Pucker or apple schnapps
In a mixing glass filled with ice, combine ingredients. Strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with raisin.

I did a google search and there really is a drink called
BEACH BLANKET BINGO
Equal parts of Cranberry & Grapefruit juice, Splash of Soda
Stir juices over ice in a Collins glass, top with soda, Garnish with a Lime wedge
Granted there's no booze in it but I think it would be very fitting for the younger one's attending the beach party or for those of us who are designated drivers.
Edited: just did another search and there really is a drink called "Beam me up Scotty". Damn it Jim I'm just an old country doctor, not an engineer!

It's a little too chilly today here for Beach attire, but I look the part for end-of-summer anyway - I got a good sunburn at the Pet Talk gathering on Sunday, so my forehead and nose are peeling, and my arms are still pretty pink.
Just a lemonade for me, please ;) with a sprig of mint if available.

i worked with a gal who was going to leave the company, she was going back to her home country.....as we came closer to her
last day, i told her that I was going to get her a 'male stripper'......She was very adamant about NOT having a male stripper......she even threatened not to come to work that day.......I had SO MUCH FUN teasing her about it....
On her last day i make a skirt, bra and mask from a whole bunch of envelopes...I had the people in the office keep her busy until the MAIL stripper came into the room.....
that poor gal was hysterically laughing, her eyes

Ok here I am. I've brought my special beach towel with surfboards on it; it's been tucked away in a cupboard so the cats can't claim it (hint, hint Richard).
I'll take a mod BBB and that will make me feel fab and groovy!
And speaking of strippers, me and 15 of my closest friends and family went to see some male strippers for my 50th last August. Even my 78 yr old Mom enjoyed it and she wants to go back for her 80th next June. Way to go Mom!!
