wondering if there were any dane owners in the group?
We have fostered a few danes and helped transport several danes.
Here is Asgrim our first dane foster. We put some weight on him.

Marshall was our most recent foster. We put pounds on him too. We are taking a break from fostering, letting our older dogs have a rest.

My family had a Great Dane mix when I was in high school/college and beyond. Gracie was a big black 3/4 Dane, 1/4 Lab rescue pup, heart of gold, brain of fluff, spoiled rotten gal. She was very black, very shiny, with a white Taj Mahal on her chest and white toes on her front feet. She lived to be 14 1/2, well beyond a Dane's "expected" age, which her vet attributed simply to her being loved so much and spoiled so much!
yep, I have one and hope to get another one some day. Here's a picture of my Brock with his buddy Brandy. Dane are great dogs, gentle and very loving. But of course when ours thinks he a lap dog and thats a little to loving.....;)

I haven't seen too many Danes around here, but I know that we have a Lab possibly Dane mix named Nala. I can't wait to see some more pictures of your dane! By the way, Welcome to Pet Talk!:)
Yes, I think my Nala girl is part Dane, as Dogz said. :)

Yep, my Dakota sure is a Harlequin Great Dane as my sister said! And we're very proud of our biggest baby!

what a great looking girl! i went to visit my new puppy (3 more weeks) She's merle colored, a very light gray with with a few black spots. i can't wait to bring her home.
I love the ones with that coloring too! I love them all actually! I'd be excited if I were you too! In the future my husband wants a blue dane one day and I want one with that type of coloring. I can't wait to see the pics of your puppy after you go and pick her up in 3 weeks!

Some years ago my family owned great dane... hername was Felmy,and she was orange with black stripes, i don´t know what ´a color is it in english.....
i'd love to see a picture of "Blue" the merle colored dane, i pick up my new merle girl in a couple more weeks!
