I made it past step one of the interview process!!!

When I got home from my little trip today, I found a message waiting for me from the vet place that I had that interview. I called the vet place as SOON as I walked in the door this afternoon, after I had picked up the kitties from boarding ;) Guess what - they are letting me do the next step, which is job shadowing! They said that they let people do this before they do the next interview, because sometimes people have expectations and get hired, and then end up hating the job. I have I guess what would be a mini phone interview on Wednesday (my job shadowing is tomorrow at 5pm, for about an hour). I'm so excited - I will let you all know how it goes!! :)

I also thought we should be in the position to give recommendations - we know each other so well and nobody can get better co-workers than the Pet Talkers:D

Naomi, have at least the same good luck as me! I have already got my job. Project assistant for a UNDP Project in Moldova.

You have to know at least a little about Moldova and the situation here to understand how hard is to get a good job here. Aprox. 1 milion people work illegaly abroad! People dream about emigrating to Canada or other countries.

Thanks for all the well wishes :)

The job shawdowing went really well. I stayed an hour longer than was "required" which I really think helped, but I stayed because I found it so interesting! I didn't get to do anything really exciting, but it was still very interesting to learn about. I talked to the lady today about getting hired, and she said she would let me know tomorrow :) Fingers crossed!!! :)
