Ice Cream Social **pics**

One of the pet stores in town has an Ice Cream social for dogs every Friday night in August--tonite was the first one, so of course, we went. Our dogs didn't care for the doggie ice cream, but lots did!!!!!

I ran into Ashley (Aspen and Misty) and her dad there too!!!:)

the sheltie looks like a border collie to me...oh well whatever it is, it's gorgeous.

Great pics, Emily! O lve the one with the Scottie and the Westie. and the one with all the JRT's. And the dane. Oh, heck! I loved all of them. Too bad your kids didn't like the ice cream. Maybe it was low fat. Akkk! ;)

Oh my gosh!

My husband, mother, and a friend of ours and myself were all there this evening also. We must have been there at the same time because I saw the shepard pup and the akita arrive and you have pics of them! I was wondering if you brought your dogs to the socials. Too bad we didn't get to meet. I was even telling a person with 3 golden retrievers about PT. They were with the Golden Retriever rescue of Central PA.

It was nice seeing you again Emily. Next time we come into town we will have to go to the newly built dog park *AKA* your back yard and let the 4 dogs play, thats if Kito doesn't mind Nova being in his teritory. :D

Wow that sounds like sooo much fun!!!! That's really cool that you could meet up with Ash as well.

Hmmm. I wonder if your dogs were too excited about everything going around them to be interested in icecream? Or they probably were just being polite. :)

It really would be nice to have something like that around here...something where dog owners could get together with their pets and socialize.

We took Hannah and Tucker to the Dairy Queen yesterday evening for one of those teey, tiny Dairy Queen cones. This is the second time this summer we have done that. The first time we did it, Hannah licked her cone and it was so much fun watching her enjoy it. This time, knowing what it was, she devoured the whole thing in one gulp. Thankfully Tucker licked his and took his time before it was all gone.
