I couldn't help noticing this in Popcornbird's pm/post tribute thread and I was wondering if maybe a special bird thread could be organised in memory of Jessica?

Just a thought ... what do others think?

I was thinking the same thing. Birds meant SO very much to our special Jessica, and this was one of her last wishes on this site. It would be wonderful to make a bird forum in her memory, and to fulfill her last wish. :(

I don't know. I've really been thinking about this.

Would it really be fair to everyone? Because once we add a Bird section, people will be wanting rabbit, ferret, rat and so on part of the boards.

If no one has any complaints I say go for it.


Maybe make a section in "Pets" called "Jessica's Bird Haven" or something like that.

I'm up for it! I say that's a wonderful idea! I like KayAnn's idea, "Jessica's Bird Haven", I think that's a wonderful idea. Sje would have been so happy. I would have loved to see her smile.

Paul is away this weekend, it will have to wait until at least Monday evening, probably Tuesday when we can discuss this.

Well, I don't really think it would be unfair to other pet owners, because on most pet sites, and most pet catalogs, etc. There are always 4 main sections. Dogs, cats, birds, and small pets, or other pets. Birds are usually a main category of pets as dogs and cats, so I always thought they should have their own section. I just want Jessica's dream to come true. :)

I think this would be a great Idea! Because thier is alot of bird owners on here.
