Who Is A Akita Lover!!!!

WHO LOVES AKITAS I DO....... TELL ME ABOUT YOURS!!!!

I LOVE Akitas, but I don't own one. My aunt owns the cousin to the Akita, the Jindo. .

I don't either but from where i am posting I am staying for a while, and they have a Akita. Do you wanna Pict?

I would love to see a picture of "your" Akita.
I have a smaller cousin of the Akita, the Shiba Inu, and I think Akitas are stunning creatures.

my neighbors have a male akita named Sam. he is a brindle pinto akita, he is soooo beautiful. but i don't have any pics of him. :( they moved before i could get some digital pics. :( darn. :p

I don't own one, but I do like the breed. It has been suggested that my BC x has got Akita in her, what do u think? U can see a pic of her here:

Abker--I can see it a little--how big is she--maybe she has Shiba in her instead--Shiba's can be black as well

Shiba's can be black? Wow, u learn somethin' new every day, eh?:) She is 18-19 in. at the withers and somewhere between 45-50 lbs. :D

Robilee also got an akita pup recently. her little precious pup is such a little lady.

They are really good gaurd dog. THe people that own this Akita use her as a pet but also as a gaurd dog because they have a baby boy!

:) Yes, she is a pinto with black mask. She is actually a little on the small side. She is 4 months old. We adore her.

NO kidd they can get very big! :) :D

Our old dog, Luther, was an Akita. We had him before I was born, and he was kind of like a brother to me:o He protected me, he wouldn't let strangers pick me up unless my mom or dad said it was ok:) He died of cancer when he was 9 years:(

Yup they can get big! In the winter (with his winter coat) Luther was over 130 lbs, normally he was around 110-120.
We know a lady who has mastiffs, and she's trying to get us to take one that is 163!:eek:

That is how my Canadian friends Akita is they have a new born baby... and it typicly protects it!
