Rusty is such a beautiful dog!! I dont know much about the breed...what is the temperment like? Full grown size?...just curious...what a beautiful dog!! :)

Not all tollers have blue eyes. In Rusty's litter, he was the only one. It depend on the parents.

Thanx.:D The temperament... Well, just from Rusty, the temperament is fun and active. If someone wanted to get a toller, the dog would probably be happier if it had a job like tolling ducks or search and rescue. The full grown size... Tollers are the smallest version of retriever. Tollers are medium sized. Probably around 1'5" to 2'. (just aproximating) From Rusty, barking and sheding is not a problem, but his brothers and sisters are quite vocal and have other pets to play with. Also, Rusty does not find much fun in chasing squrrels or small animals or cats, so we dont have to worry about that.

This is of Rusty after he got neutered. (5 months) The only reason he got neutered is because they had to take off his partly disconnected toenail. They decided it would be safer doing 2 at once instead of having one big operation, then another. Here's the pic:
"Mommy, this cone is bugging me! And why do I always have to be the oddball in the family! I mean having fur and four legs is bad enough but this!"

I agree Anna, that's my favorite too!:D And that's my Star's favorite "resting" pose!:D Rusty's grown so!! What a beauty; then again, I love all Retrievers! Our local shelter has a DTR waiting for her forever home:( Not many people know about them and how special they are! Rusty, you're adorable!:)

what happened to him to get a partly disconnected toenail?? Ashlee once got her's caught in a downed wire fence, but they saved it. Max (as in Tico and Max) got an infection and had to have his removed too.

Rusty got it cut playing near a wire fence and sharp bushes.
