I don't believe in this sort of "horoscope" thing - after all, I know many different people born in July, and we're all quite different. My mother-in-law and my Dad were born on the same day, the same year, in the same state, and they are very different people ...

You can make broad generalizations about any group of people, and some of them will be right!

There are a few in November that fit me.

Actually, people that are born in the same month are different because it's not the Sun sign that people generally see, but actually our ascending is how people perceive us.

Your Moon and Ascending signs are determined by which house the Sun sign is in when/where you were born.

For instance, I am a Leo/Virgo cusp....I was born on the borderline...Leo side. But my moon is Virgo and my Ascending is also Virgo, so more than likely, especially when someone first meets me, they will see Virgo atributes in me, and not necessairly my Leo.

I don't believe in horoscopes either. I read my month, some things listed fit me, some didn't. I also read a few other months, some things fit me, some didn't. You could mix up the months and descriptions.

I don't believe in that stuff anyway, but they're always fun to play around with :p August was pretty much me except for this part that said I thrive for praises. That's only sometimes!! ;)

But how do you explain people born on the same day, same year, same state, time zone, etc, being very different personalities? And how about twins that are very different in personality?

Some of them work for me..but I saw a show once, and this class room all got a horoscope thingie like that according to their name..and they all read it and were like 'wow thats so me!' then the teacher asked them to trade with someone else and read theirs..and sure enough they were all the exact same..

Im an October too and most fit me EXCEPT THE LAST ONE WAS A NO NO! Im sorry I cant stand kids...except my furry ones of course.

There's alot more that goes into Astrology than reading what some unknown person has written in the paper.

Geography, mathematics, and timing go into it for instance. You can't just read the daily horoscope in the paper and expect it to be personal. There is a thing called a Natal Chart that would be tailored to each individual personally. That is the beginning of what I was talking about in this thread earlier.

Also, don't forget that there are 2 signs in each month. It varies each year, but the change over usually occurs around the 20th of each month, so it's hard to go by the month you were born, rather than the sign.
