Anna is our latest heroine!!

Anna is going to pull a 2 year old female Rottie tomorrow to avoid her being put down. She's going to foster it for a few days while I get a transport set up to get the baby girl up to my friend Valerie in Minnesota for a few weeks until my friend Kim in Michigan has room at her shelter for her.

YEAH for Anna!!!

Also, Valerie is the woman who helped us save 6 pups and a mom a few weeks ago. My friend Cyndie kept Mom in Indianapolis and the 6 pups after the nightmare transport are safely in Minnesota.

Well I think I'm going to do it this way, so if anyone else out there can help let me know.

Anna will bring her to me in Fort Wayne and then I will drive her to Gary, IN and then hopefully my friend will drive from Gary to Kenosha, WI and then another driver that drove for me for the pups will drive to Madison and then someone else will drive from Madison to Mauston, WI and then someone else will take Mauston, WI to LaCrosse,WI and then someone else will drive from Lacrosse to Stewartsville, MN and Valerie will pick her up in Stewartsville. That's what I hope at least.

You should have seen her when I went to put her back in her cage, OMG I could have just cried right then & there:(
She pulled back & gave me those eyes saying "Please don't put me back in there". It was so hard. I hope she'll be ok.

Please everyone keep your fingers crossed that she and my furkids can get along.

Three cheers for Anna and Molly! That poor lil girl looked so sad in her pictures! And wow, how skinny :( I am sure you will see a great improvement in only a few days with you Anna!

We'll keep fingers and toes and paws crossed here that everyone will get along. She sure does look sad, but I'm sure that will change quickly!!

What a sweet face!!! The poor girl!

Do you have her now, or when are you bringing her home?

I bet huney and Roxey will be just fine with her..they are both great with other dogs (they put up with Spot :) ) Angus will probablly to great too, esp. since it is another female and she sure doesn't look like she would try to dominate him....shouldbe fine (Fingers crossed anyway)

I'm praying a lot. I hope that Angus will like her since she's another Rottie. I haven't heard from Anna yet. She was going to go and get her after work.

It's a no go with other dogs

She is a wonderful people person, was even snuggling with me on the floor while I brushed her:)
But she is very dog aggressive. She would be wonderful as an only dog.
I just don't know what to do.
Molly is on the phone right now trying to figure out something.
Anyone have any ideas?
I took her to the vets and had her vac & rabies shots and got pancur for the whipworms she has, and also had her heartworm tested (negative). In total I've spent $125. If anyone knows someone who could take her I'd be eternially greatful. I'd even drive to take her to a home.
Please......anyone????!!!!

Ok, here's the latest. Rose (that's her name now....kind of a scary coincidence...I'll let Anna tell you that one.) is having problems playing nice so we're having to rethink our possibilities. There is a place in Michigan that may be interested in her and they will work with her aggression issues and then place her in a forever home. In the mean time, Anna is loving her and feeding her and playing with her. I have spent the day crying trying to figure out what to do to fix this. I guess the warden said she probably would have been put down today or tomorrow if Angel Anna hadn't saved her. He was thrilled that someone came and got her.

Oh Thank God she was saved.
I wish I could take her, and my husband would love her in a second, but if she's no good with other dogs, obviously we can't.
I am praying that you guys figure something out--you always do!!!

I totally agree with you Molly.

After you told me that the people who were "supposed" to be coming to look at her had another dog, I secretly hoped she wouldn't go home with them. She deserve to be the only dog and have ALL the attention:D
