Yay Donna is "an unexpected gift of the goods"? ;)
Jen,
He's new. I brought him home yesterday.
PayItForward,
No, he's only a foster. The old "Vacancy" sign is out and shining bright at the inn. I'm up to my eyeballs in kitties. ;)
Awwwww! Hand that baby right over here! :D
Another foster, you do so much good. Soon another kitty to another furever home :)
He is a little Spike, isn't he! Great name. What a cutie, and he must be to keep you from the PT meeting :)
Hi Spike! Sorry that we missed your foster mom at the PT meeting today, but, one look into those wittle eyes tells me it was necessary.
Get BIG soon.
what a precious little darling!!!!!:D :D
Spike is incredibly adorable!!!! What a baby face!
PT meeting? Did I miss something, or is it for a certain group or something?
adorable!!!
Oh Spike you are soooooo adorable and I just love your name. I'm in love. :D
Spike, you are adorable and I'm glad you are loud and have a big appetite. Now how about curling up on mommie's pillow and letting her sleep. :) :)
Awwwwww He's soooooo cuuuuuuuute!!!:D I also love his name. :)
He looks like a Spike. Great catitude!:)
What a little cutie he is! :p No wonder he kept you home. ;)
Aw Spike what a cutie-pie furboy you are for sure - I can't believe you have a BIG voice! Sending tons of nose-kizzies and a big {{{hug}}} for your very dear Meowmie xxx
Lynne
Now I totally understand why you had to stay home!
How's he doing?
Can you say 'adorable'????? Actually, Nakita was the loudest one in her litter and she was the only female! Maybe Spike would be a great partner for her.
Oh, I would love to take that little bundle home!
;)
He's doing great but has a love affair going with the bottle ;). As a matter of fact, I marched in the Dearborn Memorial Day Parade this morning. Kathy, the vet tech that runs the nursery in the shelter kittysat for him while I as gone. I forgot his bottle there and took a spare one from the nursery. He absolutely REFUSED that nipple. So, back I went to the shelter to get HIS bottle. The things I do.
He's getting fat and happy. Once he's old enough, can use the litterbox and eat on his own, he'll go back to the shelter and I'm SURE get adopted immediately!!
Thank you for taking care of Spike. Please make sure he goes to the purrfect home. And, if you can, post some more pictures, he is so cute.
Cuteness Overload!!! awww!!! :D
He's so sweet Donna!
What a cutie! Please post more pictures of him soon.
Here's more pix. He loves curling up on my shoulder to sleep.
He is SUCH a little lovebug!!
How adorable he is!!! Thanks so much for the wonderful pics... but I have to ask something... lol. Does he have a sore red bum?
Kim,
Yes his butt is red. I've been putting Vaseline on it. It's from the diarrhea he's been having. I've also been giving him Pepto Bismal (hasn't helped) and Pedialyte for dehydration. I'm going to get some baby rice cereal and mix it with some canned kitten food and see if that helps bind him up. :(
What a beautiful baby boy! awww!! :D

I'm still working my way through all the posts since last Friday, but once that is done I'll be posting pics of the meeting.
Donna, Spike is absolutely adorable, and he is definitely an acceptable reason for missing out on the meeting. But, you could have came and brought him along for all of us to oooohhh and aaaaahhhh over. ;) :D
I probably COULD have, but I didn't want to take any chances on him getting sick. Plus he's fed a bottle every 2 hours and has a heating pad in the carrier which needed to be plugged in.Quote:

I'm definitely coming to the July 12th reunion at Barklay Park. My kid will be with me so she can meet everyone that I talk about so much ;)
