I've heard about that kind of cat. They're peculiar with their folded ears ;)
But to me, they're not especially attractive 'cause they tend to be inactive... and their look is just funny, not gorgeous.

my aunt and uncle own one....her name is raggs. she sleeps all day long. she is so good with the kids. but is scared of strangers.
I find them quite ugly, but deserving of love and nice homes nonetheless! But it's not a breed *I* would seek out.

I think they are very cute, would like to have one someday, if I were to find one in a shelter.
and just fyi, some shelters/rescue groups have wish lists, so if there is a certain breed you are looking for, you can ask them to notify you when they get one .

I think Scottish folds are the most adorable things in the world!! I love my black (bombay) boys best but if I were to get others they would be Bengals (so soft) or Folds. Such smoochie faces I just want to kiss them all over! Didn't someone write books about his Fold? The Cat who read upsidown? Avery Armory maybe? I know I read the books ions ago. The cat traveled with him everywhere. I know the author is a very prominent animal activist.
hmm sounds like an interesting book, I will have to check out amazon and see about it.
I really love hairless cats. If you did get a fold, Mary, it's your job to prove me wrong with lots of pics!! :)

I DO love Moo's face, he is adorable... I USED to think that, I don't now... NOW I love them, and probably because of beautiful Moo!

I think Scottish Folds are cute. :) When I was looking for a cat at the Humane Society, I picked out a cat that I was interested in and I wanted to hold it. It turned out to be a male Scottish Fold. He was very little and cute but very shy and scared. I decided to keep looking because I wanted a friendly affectionate cat. This is the same day that Storm ended up picking me. :) Hopefully the Scottish Fold was adopted to a forever loving home. I was told that his current owner couldn't keep him because she moved to a place that wouldn't except pets. :(

Storm has some Maine Coon in him. My RB Pepper did too. Their paws have cute fur sticking out of them. :) I also think that this is the reason that Storm acts like he's a dog. He's a very social cat and loves to be around people. :DQuote:
