Please pray for Baby

We need some prayers tonight. I took Baby in to get spayed today and when he had her opened up, she started to bleed. They have her on cow plasma right now and she is wrapped. This is the first time we have not been able to take one of ours home after getting fixed. I'm kind of scared right now. I am supposed to call before I leave school and get an update and then he's supposed to call me around 6:30 or 7 with a final update for the night. If he thinks she needs 24 hour care then I am going to go pick her up and take her to the emergency vet.

Thanks guys...Doc just called and said she is doing much better. He is going back in to check on her in a couple of hours and I think Deb is going in about 8:30 to look in on her. I guess we almost lost her. Doc worked on her for 2 1/2 hours to stablize her. Deb said she bawled after it all happened. I love our vet...he's wonderful. I guess we can pick her up anytime after 7am tomorrow if all goes well tonight. Thanks for the prayers.

I'm so sorry that Baby had such a hard time with the surgery.
We all usually thing of a spaying as such a routine kind of thing,
but I guess there's always a risk. Hope she heals fast & doesn't
have any more problems. How scary for you. Liz.

Well, no news is good news. Doc said he would call if something happened for the negative when he got back to check on her at 7:30 and it's almost 8:30 and no news....I'm hopeful. Thanks for the prayers and Cinder and Smoke, your prayers are always answered...thanks.

It's 8:40 and Deb just called and said that Baby is standing up and wagging her tail. Her gums are pinker now so everything is moving in the right direction!! Thanks!!!

I know that I have not posted in a long time. Some may know why some may not. I have been worried sick about baby and to see all the post have made me hopeful of tomorrow. Thank you.

It is so good to hear that Baby is out of the woods, standing up and wagging her tail sounds so heartening!:) What a great vet you have, love sent to him for caring so much.

I'm so glad I didn't see this earlier...I would have worried all night for all of you, and hopefully things will be better today. Having a wonderful vet is a blessing. I know everything that can be done will be. You and Mike are often in my thoughts and especially so today.

I have had several problems occur during the recovery period of spaying, but never anything like this. What an awful scare that must have been for you. We will keep Baby in our prayers as she continues to recover and thrive.

I hope by now she is home, Molly and Mike. I am so glad that as of the last report, things were looking up!! :)

Mike has Baby. I just talked to him. We are supposed to keep her down for 3 days (like crated) and she is on antibiotics. We are also supposed to keep the neon pink dressing on for 3 days. This ought to be interesting. He wants her kept quiet so no playing in the yard for a couple of days. He just doesn't want whatever tore loose yesterday to tear loose again. We'll keep you updated and thank you all again for your prayers and good thoughts.

GREAT news, Molly!!:D So happy to hear Baby is wagging that little tail! Hopefully soon she'll be back home in the loving arms of her Mommy and Daddy!:)
