Oh Nakita, you get more stunning every day! I just love staring into your beautiful eyes. In the sunny window pic you are actually smiling. You must be a very happy kitty and looks like you had fun outside. Sending some headbumpies and kisses your way.:D

Her eyes are beautiful!! Those cat leads are a good idea, did she take to them okay? I would like one for my kitty who shows some interest in going outside, but is too silly to be trusted not to get hurt in the Big Wide World :rolleyes:
Nakita, your smile and your eyes are gorgeous, but I noticed your little "stack o' paws" there and it makes me want to smooch them! I love when kitties stack their paws together like that! :D

I would never allow Nakita out without a harness. There is no way a cat can get out of this harness, at least in my experience. And Nakita is such a skinny mite that she could easily squirm her way out of all the other leash type walkers.Quote:

Some cats take to the harness and others do the belly flop to the ground and won't move! :D I think it's also easier to get a younger cat used to this than an older cat.
I started Nakita on the harness very slowly and with lots of play and treats. Then I attached the leash and walked her around the house so she could get the feel of it. This was during the winter, so we had a lot of practise time!
You have to have patience and make it a fun experience! Nakita doesn't have a problem at all with the harness or leash!
