Update on Bassett......

HOORAY!! Bassett went in on Saturday for a check up. We decided to do a recheck on her blood panel.. and guess what.. EVERYTHING IS NORMAL!!!! :D :D :D :D :D All the levels that had been really high are now bang on normal, and that is because there isn't any fluid to put pressure on her heart and lungs. I don't want to jinx it, but we may have stopped this fluid from producing, or at least slowed it to the point that it is being absorbed by her body fat - something that is supposed to happen anyway. Anyway, the vet is super happy about this and so am I!!! We are all grins here!

And, Bassett was even a really good girl about having her blood drawn, she jumped at the feel of the needle poke but other than complaining LOUDLY, she was a really good girl.

Yeah!!! I'm so happy Bassett is so much better! That is wonderful, wonderful news. After everything you've been through with her, you certainly deserve to hear this great news.
