Hope you all are not sick of seeing my pics
Because I have a bunch more! I decided to take my camera to SAR training on Saturday. It was a beautiful day, not real sunny, but the temps were very mild and the snow makes for a lovely setting (in my opinion). Sorry there are none of Graham in this, as he does not go to training with Kersey and I. He stayes home with daddy and gets spoiled by him.
I could not take any pics of Kersey actually doing her tracking because I need both of my hands, and I have to run with Kersey on the track until she finds the "victim". Eventually, I'll have someone take pics of her tracking. Sometime this week I am expecting her tracking harness, so she can do better tracking w/o the restricting harness she currently has.
The training is at a police K-9 training academy, so the agility equipment is kind of fun to play on. The agility equipment was not a part of the SAR training, and it's not official agility equipment, it's meant for the training of K-9 officers, so it's a bit more geared towards what those dogs would encounter "on the job". I just run her through the obsticles to teach her confindence, because eventually we'll move up to disaster work, and she will have to learn how to be comfortable and confindent on a variety of surfaces. She'll also have to learn to fully trust me, so this was good for socializing, and it was really fun for the both of us.

And just a few of my favorites out of the album:

Kersey's first run on the higher of the two dogwalks. You can see that she's nervous, but after the first run, she gained confindence.

Tired of pics, are you kidding, NEVER!
Leslie, I'm so glad to hear that you and Kersey have formed such a tight bond, it must be great for the both of you! It sounds like you both truly enjoy all the time you have together.
I'm glad to hear that she's not getting sick anymore, that's wonderful news!!!!
Give her a big hug from me, and of course give that cutie pie Graham a big one too! Can't wait to see the both of them again!
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you, I loved ALL the pictures!
