Have you seen that Pet Story about Tasha, the stray GSD? I've seen it several times but I'm sitting here watching it again and STILL crying. It is the most heart warming story ever.

I don't know it either. Pleeeeeeeeease tell me where to find it!
Thanks :)
Its on Animal Planet's show A Pet Story. I'm not sure when it will be on again since they just played it again today.
It just told about how they rescued this stray dog who was on her own for years. It showed all the people who helped. She absolutely no trust in people because she was so scared and on her own for so long but once she was tranquilized and captured, it was only a matter of weeks before she was trusting and devoted to humans once again.
It then showed all the people involved in her rescue. They got to see her and how well she was doing. It also showed her meeting her new GSD brother and at the end showed her driving off with her new parents.
SUCH a heartwarming tale.
Sounds like a GREAT story. I'll have to watch for it! Thanks for the info!!! :D I love GSD stories, especially those with happy endings.
Actually, if it helps...you can go to animalplanet.com
they have a schedule of shows listed...pick a pet story....it will give you which episode is airing...like a t.v. guide...
P.s. I've seen that episode before...GREAT STORY...I think it was in Mass.........

I've seen the Pet Stories so many times I almost know them by heart! I hope they make some new episodes.
I am starting to feel that way about a lot of animal planet's shows...seems like I've seen all the episodes of Good Dog U, Breed All About It, That's My Baby...I still watch 'em, but it'd be nice to see some new ones!Quote:

Comcast just took over our cable company and they said they were going to add Animal Planet to our list of channels. (HOORAY!) So all those stories will be new to me!
Sounds a great hear warming story
Hey Sue - if you're home, turn on Animal Planet! Its not the story I was talking about but its a good story about a woman who trains GSDs for police work.
Thanks, aly!!! I just turned it on. I love this kind of program!!!! Thanks again!
No problem! Did you see the woman saying goodbye to Sarge (now Beazle) ? *SNIFFFFFFFFFF*
Aly!!! I was crying with her!!! Shiloh and Killian were looking at me like I was crazy!!! I couldn't let him go!!!! :( :( :(
I am just amazed at what they do!!!! That's why I love the GSD!!
My two are sleeping right now.
HEHEHE!
I can't stop crying at this show! AWWW Look at his badge, omg.
I love GSDs too. When I get one though, I want the sleeping kind like you have :D :D
I get all choked up at doggie accomplishments like this!! How impressive. It makes me cry, too. Did you see how happy "Sarge" was when he saw her?? That made me teary too!!!
I guess I just sniff and cry through these programs! It reminds me of Petey, my almost first foster.
But I agree, I like the "home dogs" that will protect when you need them, but don't have extreme high drive! That would wear me out! LOL
will be on Animal Planet, Pet Story, Wednesday morning. I know this is the umpteenth rerun, but it's still good to watch.
Thanks for the update--I would love to see it!!
