To make it fun we've got to have a thread to talk about the Pet Talk Gift Exchange, right??

So who all is participating??

The deadline to send the gift is Feb 24, right?

Yesterday I went to the mall and bought the gift for the person...:D....I haven't bought the pet gifts yet, but I have some in mind!

I went shopping last week sometime...it was *so* much fun!!!! Mark & I had a blast. All I have to do now is find a box and get to the PO during business hours. This was a great idea!!! :D

Great! :D Hey the post office will give you the priority mail boxes for free...I always get those, they are lightweight and easy to mail!

I haven't been shopping yet, but I have a couple of ideas. I've been too busy worrying about Bassett all weekend.. :( But I have the next week off school, so I will be done by Friday at the latest so I can post it when the office is open.

I wanted to do this but Inever recieved an email?:confused:

I bought the pet gifts today! :D Actually, I still have a little bit more to buy. Ermm...ok so one of the pets is getting more spoiled then the others! lol :eek:

I bought my gifts too today !!! ho , that was fun , he he !!

I went over the "limit" too ; but there was a sale in that shop !!

Crap I bought more stuff today! Must STOP!! I've spent over the $15 limit...lol........ooooohhhhhhhh well!

I went over the $15 limit.. I had more than one pet to buy for! ;) The box of stuff is being sent in the mail today! I packaged it all up last night :)

I also went over the $15 limit. It was so much fun! The package is going in the mail in the morning.

The package is officially in the hands of the fedex man!!! I decided to fedex it because with my hubby's discount it would be same as USPS'ing it. This is so exciting!!! :D (This also means that Mark's name is on the box, not mine)

I mailed mine early last week so the lucky person should get it next week. I went WAY over the $15.00 limit. Actually, it cost me $15.00 just in postage :D There is going to be a very spoiled doggie soon :D

I shopped yesertday and will be sending my package out tomorrow. I will probably be out of town when mine arrives :( Andrew and Drake will be out of town too. They are hiking for 2 weeks on the Applachian Trail! I am so envious! But I will be having a great time in Lebanon with my Mom and Dad!

Mailed out my package today...sorry, it's going to take a week to get there. I was going to send it priority but i didn't have enough money with me, lol. :)

I priority mailed my package yesterday. I didn't put my name on it, were we supposed to?

I thought, as I was preparing the package - this is SO COOL! I don't have to disguise my handwriting, as no one has seen it here! (Okay, unless they're gonna dig out Christmas cards to compare handwriting samples ... forgot about that!)

In the Secret Santa at work, I write all tags left-handed, as my left-handed writing looks completely different than my normal right-handed writing! I can write legibly left-handed because when I was bored in school, I would practice writing leftie, well, at least when I wasn't doodling!

Well I went shopping and everything and was about to send it out and things happened and we are trying this again! Mine will be sent asap! I can't wait to see if there pet likes it and if they like it! Hee hee :D

Yes,I got your PM's but I done gave Ashley the name you were suppose to get. Hopefully if we have another gift swap we will be able to get each other's e-mails and PM's better. Sorry about this time. Hope you'll want to join in the next one. Long as this one goes well.:) I'm sure it will:D

Karen it really didn't matter either way if you put your name on it or not.

I put my name/address on mine. I mail things all the time, and I've had a couple of things lost in the mail....I'd rather play it safe and have a return address. I should have sent it priority though. :(

I put my name on it too. Actually, I ended up telling my person they had me :p I was too excited to wait!!! But I made sure she was still curious by giving all kinds of sneaky hints.. I'm very curious to see what will show up here.. as are Bassett, Tilly and Nutmeg!!!! :D

I sent my package on the 21st. The lady at Canada Post said it would take 7 to 10 business days so I will not be hearing from it for another while. I hope the receiver likes what I sent. I sure do and one of the things in it is one of Hayley's favorites!

P.S. My name is on the package as well.

OMG! When I got home from work yesterday there was this big box! It was full of goodies for my boys! There's squeaky toys, peanut butter treats (they love them) gravy milk bones (wow, they're going to think they've died and gone to heaven) and a beatiful little note pad with dogs on it. Thank you so much! You know who you are :D

I put a return address, just not a name attached to it, just in case! :)

So it wouldn't be too hard to figure out anyway, I guess ...
