:) This is my first Valentine's Day with my husband. He is taking my daughter and me out to dinner (how romantic, huh?) and he has gotten us tickets to the Boston Pops Orchestra concert tonight. I think it will be a lovely evening.
But, for the last 10 years, I have been alone with no date, no husband, and it has never bothered me. All I had to do is remember what the alternative was (the ex husband) and I was perfectly happy! Have a glass of champagne, watch a good movie and love your furry ones! :)
vday only sucks if you have no one to share it with. :p i agree it does suck, but i have plans today. i'm goign with a bunch of a friends out to lunch and then we're going shopping. tomorrow night i have a sweet 16 party to go to. AAHHH! :D

Tomorrow evening I am taking my son to the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (his first time). My hubby has to work and we couldn't go tonight since my father in laws birthday is today and we are celebrating his birthday tonight!
My husband surprised me with an anniversay diamond ring. Our 13th wedding anniversary is on March 3rd so I got it a little early!!! I can't wear it yet though since he remembered my wedding ring size from 13 years ago. My fingers are short and a little fatter now! :rolleyes:
I love Valentines! I guess I am just a hopeless romantic! I even called my dad this morning and told him Happy Valentines Day to my very first love! :D

I agree that Valentine's Day has become too commercial.
Couples shouldn't need a day to show how much they care, they should show it all the time.
Tonight, Andy will get out of work and make the hour and a half drive to my place. No expensive dinner, no flowers, no candy, no expensive gifts. Just us.
I'm thankful and love that I have him and get to spend time with him.

Mike and I are going to doctors appointments today! How's that for romantic?
My hubby and our fur girls got me a "Clifford The Big Dog" pillow, for watching TV on the floor with them;) But I'm sure Nina will think it's hers.
We both have to work:mad: , but will celebrate it tomorrow by going to Taco Time:D :D :D . We have done this for the past 7 years.

I am leaving GA in 2 minutes and driving home to AL. Andrew and I have reserved the best table in the house, our dining room table! I am cooking dinner and we will probably hang out at the house and play with Draker!

When I didn't have someone special to share the day with, I made it even better by hanging out with my girlfriends...they are more sometimes anyway. :)
We are spending tonight with take out from Baja Fresh and renting a movie. We charish days that we can just relax and be together, with our furries too! :)
It's just another day, really. My friend gave me some flowers and candy. And my friend Melony drew me something.
Since I'm still sick after 2 weeks :rolleyes: me and Chewy will be doing the normall.....

V-Day is nothing to me.. I am going to videotape 2 basketball games tonight and come home then watch a dvd or two.. and just be with rosie and anna..
Mike brought me a dozen yellow roses to school along with lunch, but he has to work 7pm to 7am tonight, so, I plan on watching While You Were Out and going to sleep...I'm sick so that sounds like a REALLY good time to me!!

Since Brian's sick, we are staying in and watching a movie while I gorge on my chocolates!! It's the perfect evening for me!
I was going to go out to a movie with some friends but we're having some flurries right now and the roads are slowly getting crappy, plus I have a sinus headache a good indicator that I'm getting a cold or something. Therefore I stopped and rented a couple of DVD's.
So my plan for tonight is to get in my pjs, cuddle with the dogs and watch movies. :D
I walked more than 4 miles yesterday so my knee is bugging me grrrr so, i will spend the eve on the couch with a cold pack LOL, bought some used DVDs today! yay

I worked until 6:00 bathing dogs. How romantic. I picked up a heart shaped pizza and breadsticks. My friend and I watched TV. Exciting eh ????
I've never had a boyfriend, so Valentine's Day really doesn't mean much to me.
i ate candy and stuff,and my mom gave me a horse charm bracelet and horseshoe earrings!
