Pulled over by The Man last night...

Sev and I drove to the park after work today and on the way home a cop pulled me over. I hate the sight of flashing red and blues in my mirror. It's a pet peeve of mine, you know? I was all ready to get defensive and p/o'd because I knew I didn't do anything wrong (this time) and then he told me what the problem was...

the dog in the back seat was dropping tennis balls out of the car for a the whole way back from the park.

Sure enough, all of the balls I that collected from the park were gone.

We had a good laugh. Seven just looked at me like he knew what was going on. He didn't even bark at the cop when the approached the car.

The dog has too much personality. It's scary sometimes.

What, didn't he want to keep the balls for himself? Figured there were other dogs who could use them;)

That's amazing! An amazing dog, AND an amazing cop to stop and tell you! Oh, Seven, Dad knows how to get back to the park even without your markers, okay?

Sev is definitely smarter than any of the dogs I've raised over the years. He's got a bonafide personality.

As for the cop, he was the one who pulled me over the day I got my WRX. I was 'testing it out' on Rt. 202 and might have been doing a little faster than the posted speed limit. It was 2 AM and no one was out there (well.. except for him hiding by an exit ramp near West Chester). Every time he sees me, he messes with me. He used to work for my uncle who was the chief of police in town so he has seen me way too often.

According to him, it was a slow night and he wanted to pull me over for something good for a change :)

*laughs* You should tie a string from the each ball to the seat! But it would be too funny if your "whatever-color-it-is" car become all green-yellowish..all those tennis balls hanging! :eek: :) That's so neat when the Dogs always can teach us something!
