Bossy but Beloved Bobo

Goodness, Bobo, you certainly have come a long way since your start as a stray cat's kitten! You charmed your mom enough to adopt you, and little did she or any of the rest of the family realize that you were going to taken over the household! We are glad you and Albert reached an understanding, and you have your Dad for cuddles and your mom for food! Your athletic prowess certainly is certainly impressive, and maybe that is why your doggie siblings let you eat and drink first! We are sure you trained the new/kid respect for kitties, and best of all, your mom loves you so much! Congratulations, handsome boy! You are now Cat of the Day for the whole world to admire!

Wow, Bobo you are one very smart and very beautiful boy!! Fancy treating your mom purrson so badly now :eek: after she did all the ground work with you and your dad purrson so gently. I guess you are a born leader, Bobo, and it is no mean feat to have Albert and Nemo do your bidding and await your pleasure. :cool:

Your photos are stunning. I just love the second one of you lying on a lovely snuggly bed, looking like royalty. :D

Well, Bobo, needless to say you will have already had lots of treats and cuddles for being our special COTD, but I’m sure you can always do with more. Congrats!!

Scrappy Two is like that , she is the Boss Cat , despite being a bit infirm.

My goodness, dearest little Bobo, aren't you a take-charge kind of guy! All your photos showing you as you grow up are gorgeous, from a tiny kitten with that oh-so-determined look in your eyes to a big boy relaxing and taking time to smell the flowers. Your orange fur is so pretty, and what a sweet face you have, with the cute pink nose and the lovely eyes. I wish I could reach through the screen to Jupiter, FL to pet you, and Albert and Nemo too! I can't, but I'm sure your loving and beloved Purrrents will pet you all for me (I hope you'll let Mommie pet you) ;).

And what a wonderful Purrrmanent Furrrever home you have! Big windows through which you watch the wildlife and make that special kitty chattering noises when you see tempting prey you cannot go after. You are beautiful and athletic, leaping to and from high places and tall cat towers.

Right from the start, you look like you know how you want things to be and will see that they are that way. How good of the rescue facility in Georgia to rescue your birth Mom so you were born at the rescue. You and your Purrrmanent Meowmie bonded with and adopted each other right away. Since then you have taken charge of running your home, haven't you! You have your Purrrents and Albert and Nemo well trained, Dad as your lovebug target for purring, kneading and snuggling, Meowmie for the more vigorous play, Albert and Nemo waiting for their food and drink until you've taken your share. What a delightful love-filled home you all share!

Congratulations, darling Bobo, on being selected today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and Meowmie and Dad and Albert and Nemo and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite treats and games.

Hello Bobo, You certainly sound like a CAT and a handsome one at that. I love my cat too but I would try very hard not to have my legs used as a scratching post as your mom does. You certainly are the boss, aren't you? It sure sounds as if you are very much loved. I hope you have many more happy healthy years. Congrats on being COTD!

What a handsome, personality packed, scrappy, feisty, "take charge" fellow you are, Bobo! No doubting your "orangeness!" And why is it that so often it's the ever diligent, doting mom who gets short shrift?:D Clever you, winning over your mom with your many charms, and then "bam," once you had that first paw in door, you're the man in charge! Well, we know deep down you love your mommy every bit as much as your daddy, so I guess it's just a matter of the guys needing to bond, along with your split personality!:p And as is often the case in "mixed" households (such as mine), it's inevitably the kitties who come to rule over their fellow furry ones, no matter the "interloper's" size! (So kind of you to allow them to share your household!;)) You truly are one in a million, Bobo, one of a kind, but as your mommy's says, she wouldn't have it any other way. Everyone needs a Bobo in their life, keeping them on their toes and wanting for more!

Handsome Bobo, you are a total take-charge kitty! And a beautiful orange kitty, at that! I am guessing that you really love both your mommy and daddy very much! I can tell who's the boss at your house- and that's you! The days at your house are busy with keeping an eye on everything outside your window, receiving petting and snuggles, giving your people taps with your paws, being your sweet self! I wish my kitty had been as intelligent as this boy. But hey, not everyone has beauty and brains together huh? He sounds like my other kitty (had two and Missy was smarter) I found her on the street and despite the fact I fed her for days until we finally coaxed softie dad into taking her in, she bonded with my brother. Lol funny huh? At first I was a tad put out.

Hi there! Wow on the other side of the world!! Thank you for seeing it my way. Lol I read my post to my husband and he chuckled when I came across the part where Bobo pretended to rub my legs and then turn and bite my toe. I showed him the video the other day after I dug it up. I really wish I could post it but I was wearing my nightgown and that's not what I want posted on the internet but it was proof that Bobo has a serious mean streak - & for no reason. I was even saying in the video, "Oh Bobo, you're being so sweet, I bet any minute now you going to bite my toe." And as soon as I said it, he did just that. Maybe I could edit my nightgown and post it.

Anyways, thank you and one day I hope to go to Australia. Just so many things I want to see there, the Morning Glory roll clouds, your only flamingo left in Aldelaide Zoo (so sad to read last yr that Greater passed... In his 80's, no doubt!!), the Sydney Opera House, & gosh all that nature and beauty!

Hello, just wanted to say hi & thank you for your sweet words regarding my alpha cat. I can not believe how many cats you've loved & taken care of! I just love knowing there are others out there that can relate to being an animal lover. I love my pets (even my husband's Bobo haha) just as much as I would love children if I had any. Hi, he's the boss alright. But he has cute games he plays with me and I really enjoy him for that. We play a stalking game and it starts out like peek a boo- then we spend about 10 minutes stalking and slowly walking up to each other, yet staying hidden. At the last minute we try to be the 1st to jump out and startle the other! He LOVES playing that game. He knows my husband won't crawl on the floor or stalk his own cat for 5-10 minutes just for the enjoyment of it. (Not many people would). But, I think some of the play time with my pets is very therapeutic. And, all my pets follow me around the house like shadows. So, they know their dad travels & can't play & love on them like mom, so I know they get sad when I have to leave the house (I do research & write for a living- so I am here almost all the time), my husband reports that they remained at the front door the entire time! It's nice to be loved by people but extra special to be loved by our furry friends! Take care, Kim

Your pets are too cute! Two of them remind me of Bobo & Nemo.
