It is funny that you, like he, have decided you really should rule the world, and we are glad your humans take a lot of photos of you! You obviously have them quite well trained, and I am sure you will gather more minions on the Internet today, being our Caturday Cat of the Day! We are very, very thankful they keep you inside only, where you will be safe. And perhaps you could teach other kitties the vacuum cleaner does not eat kitties? Enjoy your day, sir!

And you are such a fearless one. Most kitties are very intimidated by the Hoover vacuum, but not you. And that headless mouse toy shows everyone how powerful you are! It is easy to understand why you rule your home with an iron paw ;)

Hope you are enjoying every minute of your special day of celebration and international stardom. Hopefully, you'll get all your favorite treats and maybe you'll let Durin help you celebrate. He is handsome too, though not quite as handsome as you are. Perhaps one day he will also be COTD? You are SO handsome, with that excellent mustache and those long, LOOOOOONG white whiskers and eyebrows and that sweet face with the lovely pale-green eyes and that smile such as only cats can do. I follow Stalin on Facebook. His person shared that Stalin's kitty-brother Durin was struck by a car yesterday. A dog found him under some stairs, and the dog's owner contacted Durin's people. Durin was helped out from under the stairs and taken to the veterinarian. He did need surgery and his person hasn't posted yet how it went. I'm not sure how Durin wound up outside- I thought Stalin and Durin were inside kitties. So PTers, if you could offer a healing thought or prayer for Durin. Stalin's page on Facebook is under "Stalin the Cat".

Durin's mom posted on Facebook that he would be ready to be picked up from the doctor's office after he was more fully awake. Also that he likes going outdoors, but he hates his harness. Fingers crossed that he will get used to having it on for trips outdoors! Sweet Durin!
