Well, hello, good morning and Thank you for the greetings!
Now, to respond to the people who insist on teasing me on my birthday...let's see...
First- Jen, shouldn't you be making ME a cake? Or at least one of the pies you made on Friday??
Then, next, Mugsy- I will have you know, I got the front yard done, and was all set to MOW the leaves up when the HAIL started to come down on my little head...but, I did get half done..he he he.
Third- to Vermontcat- had my mom done all the gift wrapping yesterday, like she was supposed to, she wouldn't have been up at 4am!!!!! He he he.
We do have a birthday breakfast planned, Mom, sister and I- home made apple fritatta! MIMOSAS (so, watch for some colorful language from Mom later..he he)...
And, for all that need to know...I have just turned 37! Yippee!!!!!
WOW!! I'm impressed!! Hail eh?? We just got snowed on and didn't go down either!! When you get done with your yard, how about coming up and doing ours??? lol Btw...dinner was great. Korean food...bulgogi and it was sooooo good.

have any of you moms with children over 30 (oh my gosh, am i the only one?) ever noticed this......in their teens its hard to predict whether they are agreeing w/you or not, in their 20"s they seem to applaud (maybe that was a dream of mine?) my seeming wisdom and then they turn 30 and for the mom, its all down hill......they dont think you know very much....included in this is knowing how to drive places......one day i asked my birthday girl how she thought i got from place to place all those years before she was born.....she didnt sound too impressed, just mumbled something and went on to the next topic....and .too they think they know it all......luckily, they approach 40 and my children in their 40's at least think i know something....exactly what they have never said.....hmmmmm:rolleyes:

Seriously, folks, thank you all for my birthday wishes. It was a wonderful day, spent with mom, sister, friends, and now it is out to dinner with some other friends! My mother, as usual, went overboard, and I received many many gifts, all very appreciated, and thoughtful. I can only hope Christmas will be even BIGGER!!! He he he...
