Cute!!!;) :)
I love the Nancy comic. They haven't done it for years around here.
Jen, I check out my favorite comics everyday at comics.com There is a way to get your choice of comics in your email box every morning as well.
cute :D
Cute!!;)
I used to love Nancy too and our newspaper no longer carries it either. That turkey definitely looks relieved!! lol
On the same note, I was surprised yesterday by how many of my students won't eat turkey. I had one girl who said that all she eats at Thanksgiving dinner is mashed potatoes!!
i eat mashed spuds, non-turkey contaminated dressing, brussel sprouts (with cheese sauce) yams, cranberry sauce, steamed brocolli, carrots etc etc
I'm not sure it's anything to do with the fact that it's meat (since I've seen them eat sausage pizza and hamburger nachos for lunch! ;) ) I think it's just they don't like turkey.
Lalania, please forgive my American ignorance here, but when is Canada's Thanksgiving??? I'm currently having a brain freeze! lol
October!
Thanks!!!
uhm October 14th, I think :D. I am half american, so i wish my relatives lived closer to the border, I could get TWO thanksgiving dinners!
Gee and I could have a Thanksgiving dinner AND a birthday dinner in the same week if I lived in Canada!!
HahhAHA :D
I think I'm moving to Canada! lol:D
DON'T DO IT!!! It's snowing here right now and it's freezing :D
Awww, I'm glad there's a relieved turkey somewhere today cause I'm eating a big salad for Thanksgiving dinner.
Except that I LOVE snow!! So do the dogs. They come alive in the winter.
You are such a good girl Aly. I just don't think I could be vegetarian, although I've seriously considered it since we've become involved in rescue.
Oh yeah, Ottawa isn't all that much farther north than Fort Wayne. I know that it's farther south than my parent's old place in Wisconsin where we spent many a great Christmas break!!

I'm in Ottawa, Canada. It's much further north than both those places :D
it's so funny that you should say that.. because waaaaaaay over on the west coast it's absolutely gorgeous here today! It's sunny and very warm. I was able to drive around today with the windows down, and I didn't need my coat! :D If felt so strange to be Christmas shopping today in warm warm weather! :DQuote:

Tanya,
I just looked at Mapquest and got the coordinates for Ottawa and for Duluth, MN and you are almost exactly the same latitude, so you ARE about even with where my parents were. As for Fort Wayne, we're about 5 degrees off of you. So it's not THAT much farther north. And Mike and I are probably going to move up to northern Wisconsin in the next few years. LOL I LIKE cold weather! hehehe
