http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl26.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl27.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl28.JPGHeidi on her walk this morning.Last night,had her snack with water,asked for more water and had two more bones.She sat with me on the couch and on the carpet,she went a few time to the gate and would listen,expecting somebody to come.I ended up back at the computer,Heidi behind me snoozing.She lets me pick her up and take her to bed,doesn't say a word.This morning after coming in she went down the hall a couple of times to Mom's bedroom then to mine looking for her then realized she wasn't here and came out to me in the living room,she had a sit in my chair and looked out then got down and looked at me to go for a walk.We didn't see any pals this morning,to early.Today going up 88F feeling like the mid 90's really dry,lawn is brown,not doing much grass cutting.on Thursday afternoon,Heidi was down here,she herd a noise and wanted up,she had heard the mail carrier,they were not at our door yet,then she saw them there and she stood up on tip toes to see the mail carrier then to my chair to look out and back to the front door on tippy toes.She just had Milkbones a few minutes ago,has been snoozing the rest of the time ,on her back and snoring,now behind me on her side napping.Marlene wrote me last night ,they were still up at 20 after 11,we usually to go to bed around 10.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl29.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl30.JPGHeidi on her walk today,after going out this morning.Heidi checked out both bedrooms again looking for mom,I told her again she was at the cottage and coming home.Heidi didn't see any pals today but Buddy the German Shepherd barked at us as we went by.Before the walk, Heidi got off the chair and looked at me to go so we went.We were down here most of today,I washed my car and watered plants after we came back.Heidi had her snack at 11,her supper around 2.Mom came home with Larry,Marlene had cleaning to do first.Heidi was more excited to see Larry than Mom,jumping up at him,after he went,she finally greeted Mom.We had KFC for supper,Heidi has had two snacks tonight,now snoozing behind me,We are getting rain tomorrow,much needed around here,lawns are browning up all over.

Awwww, Heidi! What a smart girl you are, looking for mom when she isn't in her usual places! And you gave greetings when they got home, I bet a Heidi greeting is a very special one :)

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...rlrestin28.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl36.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl37.JPGHeidi having a rest beside me on the couch last night,also slept in the floor by feet,also beside the next to the computer.Three times last she thought she heard Mom come and had to go and check,wasn't there,she did finally come home.I ended up back on the computer and she was behind the chair resting.Heiid on her walk this morning,before the walk,sees people going by ,she got down form the chair and she looks at me,I try to ignore her,she ends up pawing my foot so on we went.No friends on the walk today,we went by Abigail's house and once by she heard us and started barking.Heidi has been down here most of today,had snoozes and snored,had her snack of bones after 11.This afternoon,she was bad,peed down here so got a timeout in her bed for as 1/2 hour and then had supper,we had Pizza for supper.Heidi now behind the small couch,may need to go out.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...rlrestin29.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...rlrestin30.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl38.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl39.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl40.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl41.JPGHeidi on Wednesday,her head on my leg and then with Mom,she was sharing,also laid at my feet and Mom's as well,pm her walk Thursday morning,she had her look out the window before the walk ad then got down and looked at me and I go and get changed to go ,she is at my feet,nipping at them,she saw no pals on this walk.After coming home from the walk,stays with Mom until I am ready to go down,she has a snooze once down here and snores up a storm like she did just now.Sometimes I bring her down here and go up to get washed and I come down she is waiting on the couch,I go to the computer and she lays behind me on the carpet and starts to snore,either on her side or on her back,on her side right now.We went to the shopping center,she was down here,I bought some reading glasses,when we came back,i came down and she must have heard us,she was waiting at the gate for me,she had her snacks before we went.She had her supper around 2,had two snacks of Milk bones later on and water,cuddled up to me on the couch,on the floor at my feet and art moms feet just before bedtime.Heidi on her walk this morning,shaking herself in one picture,she had her look out the window before going and then would get down and look at me and then we would go,saw no dogs again,saw buddy the German Shepherd barking at us,Heidi didn't see him.Heidi stayed with Mom when I got washed,I came down,I went up and she was at the top of the stairs,carried her down and she has had a snoozed down here,has woke up for the time being.

Hi, Heidi cutie! I like your reflecting harness -- that is a very good thing to have. I'd like to give your tummy a gentle rub in the first picture - rub, rub :) Happy Sunday to you, Barry and Mom!

Happy Labor Day, Heidi! I hope you're enjoying some extra treats and a long walk on this Holiday! I enjoyed reading your chronicles and I'm terribly sorry, I'm guilty of not making comments - I tend to gravitate toward the kitty side. In any case, hope you're having a great day! :)

It rained here today so Heidi and I didn't get out for a walk.After breakfast,she sat with me in the chair then got down ,she looked at me a couple of times,we told her it was wet so couldn't go out so she layed down on the carpet.We came down here,all she did was snooze,snoring a lot as well.She had her snack around 11,supper at 20 after 2,was bad this afternoon,pooped down here so went to her cage for a timeout.She had her snack tonight ,now asking for some more water,gave it to her,she thanked me by licking my hand.She was out a couple of times today,once just sat outside the back door,another time just wandered around.She is just wandering around now,I will go to the couch in a few minutes.by being too wet and rainy today,didn't get any pictures,don't think there is any rain tomorrow.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl55.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl56.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl57.JPGHeidi on her walk this morning.Last night,three different times she was sleeping,she really snored up a storm beside me twice and in between the couch and Mom's chair.I turn the computer off,she gets up and goes to mom,she knows it is bedtime and I take her to bed.This morning after breakfast, up in the chair looking out then down and looks at me,pawing at me so off we went.We saw a Sealyham Terrier going into the Catholic church parking lot,too far away to go and see them,they went inside the church.After coming back,she flops in front of Mom on the carpet,I go and get washed.After I come down here,she is up at the top of the stairs wanting out so out she went.I heard her barking, and went out to get her,it was a Bichon Frise being walked by,not Gracie but another one from around the crescent,this has happened the the last three days.Right now,she is her with me down here having a snooze,going in about 45 minutes to the groomers so she will be looking pretty.

Heidi on her walk this morning.Heidi went to the groomers Thursday,she whine the whole way there,was happy to see her groomer Michelle.When we went and got her,she was in her cage,she saw and started whining ,wanting out of the cage.Michelle told us she is a bit overweight,she is a little over 19 pounds,told us to cut her food back which I did ,I am now giving just one milk bone at a time for a snack and a 1/3 cup of food instead of a 1/2 cup.I walk her every day,she says her metabolism is slow.the ride back home was better,she more quiet,she snoozed most of the time after coming home.She got a timeout after being home,she pooped down here,so had her supper late.Last night she had 1 bone and a drink,she cuddled with me on the couch and in front of the couch at my feet and with Mom in her chair,snorting and snoring.Michelle said Heidi did a little bit of licking,not as much as other time she is there.this morning,sat with me in the chair and looked outside,got down and looked at me to go and we did.We were down by the Catholic school,heard Buddy the German Shepherd barking then we met Sam the Poodle and Tessa the Bichon Frise,Buddy heard all of us before we were there.Heidi greeted Sam and Tessa,no trouble with these two,they were friendly to Heidi.After coming back,had a drink,stayed up stairs then she wanted out to sit on the back step.A few minutes ago,she wanted back in,was scratching,I tried to bring her in,she didn't want my help,came in on her own and went to Mom in her chair,now down with me,Mom has to go the hairdressers.We are getting the roof done on Sunday,or it would be another week before it could be done,getting more rain tomorrow so will have to pots to catch the water for one more night.Shannon is having a yard sale at her parents tomorrow,all the daycare stuff that is in our garage is to be loaded into a trailer her Uncle Al brought a couple of days ago,the weather does not sound god tomorrow,sounds like rain all day.There were 3 roofs shingled yesterday around here,probably due to the rain we had earlier in the week.

Heidi cuddling with Mom this morning and on the floor resting,there was no walk today,rainy all day,she had a sit with me in the chair and looked out,didn't see much.We found another leak today over the light in Mom's bedroom,she had Larry come and look at it,everything in the attic was dry,Mom called the roofer,he had other jobs today,hasn't come yet,getting the roof done tomorrow.Larry brought Samantha with her and Heidi and her had a play,tired her out,greeted Larry as well.She was bad down here today,peed,she doesn't like going out in the rain,Fritz never had a problem with that yet Heidi does.Shannon had the yard sale at her Mom and dad's,loaded all of that last night,they did sell some things,wasn't too busy with the weather.Heidi had her snack around 11,had her supper near to 2,has been down here most of the day snoring and snoring up a storm, is doing it now.Having Ham Steak,Potatoes and Squash for supper,tomorrow family is going to Massey House in Newcastle,my birthday is Monday,turning 52.Sun is now out,a blue sky and clouds.

Hi, Heidi! I am sorry you didn't get a walk in this morning while it was raining... if the sun came out maybe you can coax Barry to take you if it's not too wet out. If not, I hope you will get to go tomorrow. Thinking of you and your people ... thank you, Barry for starting my birthday thread! We are September birthday buddies :)

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl64.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl65.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl66.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl67.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl68.JPGFirst two pictures are from Heidi's second walk on Sunday,we had shingles put on yesterday, a lot of noise and Heidi would not go out to the patio to do anything so took her out the gate on the south side and down the street.We saw Buddy's owner and Buddy coming up the street in a pickup tuck,Buddy saw us and started barking,saw nothing else interesting the rest of the walk.We then went to dinner,that was good,Heidi was waiting down here for us when we came home,had her snack and water,cuddled beside me on the couch and on the floor at my feet,with Mom as well,she looks art me too ask if it okay to be with Mom,other times,didn't know what to do with herself,was wandering around.Heidi on today's walk,she had her sit with me in the chair looked,then started to whine and got down and pawed my foot to go on a walk,so we did,was a cold one 48F,should have worn a sweater,I was warmed up by the time we were home.Heidi flopped upstairs with Mom after the walk,then came down.While I was out doing flowerbeds and our lawn was up with Mom in the living room,she was out on the patio when i was done our lawn,I also did the lawn across the street.Heidi was her with me this afternoon,Mom went to a Memorial for a lady who had worked as a hospital Volunteer,Heidi had her supper around 20 after 2 then had mine.She had her snack tonight,went out and came back down her and had a blitz,Mom has been to a Potluck dinner at church,just got back,Heidi went up to see her,is back down with me,carried her down and she gave me two kisses.

Heidi on her walk this morning,had her look outside then got down,looked at me and then pawed at my leg so we went.Like yesterday,we saw Buddy again,he barked at us..Heidi has been down here most of the day,we went out,need a new doorbell,I put that on,Heidi was up then and saw me out there putting it on and wagged her tail Mom gave Heidi her snack,has been snoozing,now under my chair.It is dark and overcast,getting some rain this afternoon.

Awww, Heidi! You took a look outside and let Barry know it was time to walk! What a smart girl! Happy Friday! I'm glad you got outside before the weather changed. We had a rainy night from about 5 yesterday afternoon, and it was still raining when I went to bed after the 10 o'clock news. Today is sunny and a little windy so I hope the storm moves through quickly for you.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...rlrestin36.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl80.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl81.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ootygirl82.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...rlrestin37.JPGHeidi snoozing on the couch last night,she wouldn't settle down beside so she was and at that and moved to the other side of the couch.She had her snacks as usual,was out 2 or 3 times,cuddled beside me and with Mom a little bit,was at my feet as well.It was getting close to 10 last night and she was doing all she could to ask to go to bed so she went to bed,we went up to watch the rest of the Blue Jays/Red Sox game,didn't watch it long,Boston went ahead and we gave up it, was after 10:30.Heidi on her walk this morning,had a roll on the carpet,got up in my chair after breakfast an looked outside,then got down and was looking at me,trying not to look at her,she pawed my foot so we went on our way.She saw no pals today,was a cool walk,48F,it is going to alternate between warm and cold temperatures here for a few days.After the walk,had a drink, was at Mom 's feet in the living room,she was reading the paper,Heidi came down after a few minutes,We later went to Walmart then to Shopper's Drug Mart,I got a new pair of reading glasses.Had her snacks after we got back,back down here where she snoozed and rested,Mom went out with some ladies and had Cinnamon Buns,after she got back from that we went to Swiss Chalet where I had Cheese Perogies,Fries and Caesar Salad,Mom had Butternut Squash soup and Caesar Salad.She her snack tonight with water,been over to Mom,she was just back to me an d was biting carpet,I gave her a push with my foot,she bit my left big toe.was not happy with her.She is now behind the chair,she know what she did was wrong.A picture I took about and hour ago,Heidi on Mom's lap.
