LOOK what i found...UPDATE OWNERS FOUND...

yes this precious little thing was outside miaowing under my house, i knew there was a cat outside as nikki was running around like mad trying to get out, and had a basil brush tail.

I think it is a little girl and very well looked after, so she may just have wandered , i have contacted the SPCA and put two adverts online and will go around the neighbourhood soon to see if anyone has lost her.

She is really cute, a real love bug and NO NO NO i am not keeping her, i cannot afford any more cats,but i will find her home hopefully or find her a new one if that is not possible, how old do you think she is,? i have no idea on kittens ages, but she is a few months i am guessing.

yep i swear there is a bright neon light above my house that only lost kitties can see, and it says, come on in, best hotel in town. lol, i sure hope i can find her owners, i cannot keep her and i will have to surrender her to the SPCA, which worries me a little, please pray we find her owners and soon, i hate the thought of someone missing their baby, still if they are they hopefully will ring the SPCA or look online,she is such a love bug, purrs like crazy and love to come up to your face and head butt you.

She's a beauty, and as you said, looks well-cared for. Have you called local vets, too? They might know who she belongs to, and she was certainly someone's beloved girl as she's such a loving kitty.

I am taking Ellie to vet tomorrow so will take kitten and get her checked ,see if she is micro-chipped find out age, sex for certain etc, i had call someone lost theirs a while back and is coming to see if she is theirs, but i doubt it she is too well taken care of, will keep her as long as i can, and then will have to re-home her if i cannot find the owners, please ,please pray i can find them, she is a sweetie, and i am already in love with her, i have temporarily named her nudgella, as she nudges you so much, just like my nikki really.

Gosh it is always tabbies that turn up at my house, this is my third tabby kitten, luckily i re-homed the other two .,was some years back now though.

Oh my heart is breaking already in to little pieces even thinking about parting with her,she is awesome, you call her and she runs up to you and touches her nose on your nose,and then i plonked her on my lap and she just purred and curled up and went sleep whilst tears are streaming down my face just thinking about giving her up.

I can do it , if i find her real owners, as surely she must be missed, such a love bug .

I had a phone call from a guy looking for his kitten, but he came and said it was not his, but he said he would be keen to take her if i cannot find the owners, my reservation here is she will be a shop cat, he owns a landscape business, had one for ten years, but the last one just ran away, and she is only a kitten, if a fully grown cat, maybe, i don't know, then i get another reply from someone who lives like 2 hours away, hoping it is their lost cat, but from the description i don't think so.

I would keep her in a heartbeat, i just cannot afford to, i am struggling with my three at times, and with Ellie having her major surgery, and who knows what is around the corner .

However i will not be just giving her away to anyone, believe me, last time i had a tabby we called bub,some of you will remember, some people thought that he was theirs, but were not 100 per cent sure, they wanted to take him, i felt i had no choice but to let them adopt them, and i am sure he was fine, but i always felt not quite right about it, and it has haunted me even now, i am not going to do that again ,she is very special i can tell , just with the little time i have spent with her.

I don't like having to keep her in the laundry but there is no where else, i go and visit her regularly and give her love and food etc, good we girl used her litter box and did a big wee and poop,she has a nice little tent cat bed with blankets, but is a bit cold in there compared with the rest of the house,but i am sure she will be fine, she just misses company that i can tell for sure.

Oh dear i don't know why these things are sent to me to deal with,i have much trouble dealing with situations like this,i will just have to do my best for her,that you can be assured of.

Awwwww, she's so cute! I hope her owner turns up and is a good person who is desperately missing her and looking for her.

We are praying as well that there is someone who misses that itte Doll of a Cat, and wants her back bady. She ooks a bit too well groomed to be a Stray, and we are hoping that you have a Kitty and Family reunion very soon.:love::love::love:

She is just too cute and I can easily see why you fell in love with her. I'm hoping she just got lost and wasn't abandoned to fend for herself. Those nudgies and headbumpies are the best. Would you give that little sweetie some lovies for me? And if you get the chance, let us know what the vet says?

Maybe you should ask them for a complete description of their cat including any habits and distinguishing marks. You don't want to just hand her over to anyone. I am so skeptical of people any more. She sounds like a love bug!

Don't worry i will indeed not be handing her over just to anyone, i felt pressured last time,but i will not be this time, she is too special, and i am already finding this difficult to cope with ,because i want to keep her so much, but i simply can't and it is killing me,I am so worried i cannot find her a home, and i will need to get the SPCA to take her, and that worries me as well.

I want to find the best home ever,apart from my own, because she so deserves it, she has such a beautiful purrsonality, she would make anyone fall in love with her instantly.

well had her vet checked, and de-flead and wormed, needed the first for sure, he thought she might be a munchkin and about 6-9mths old and yes i was right a girl,and possibly spayed, he was not 100 per cent sure on that, but thought he felt where stitches has been i cannot see her being a munchkin, she just look a normal tabby to me, i dont think her legs look terribly short but who knows, i was hoping i would not be charged, but alas had to pay, Ellies visit was free that was good.

She is very cute all right, so far not much response,.to my adverts,it is looking grim,my husband says we should bring her in with the other cats, but i don't think that is a good idea, i think it will stress my cats out, and they might start spraying inside, i do hate her having to stay in the laundry and it is difficult as small area and i need to do my washing,if i were keeping her it would be fine, but under the circumstances i think it best she stay put, opinions welcome.

Well...you know if you let her in she will end up staying. :D

I thought the spraying thing was only among males but I could be wrong. I had 2 different males that I had problems with over the years who peed in the house but never females...knock on wood.

Of course I am selfish and wish you could keep her. She sounds like such a love.

Oh i hear you allright and agree with you, i think females spray too when upset,i could be wrong too, but i think they can.

I would be being selfish if i keep her really, as i don't have the money to afford another cat, and my other kitties would suffer because of it if i do, as you are probably aware my Ellie has had major issues and you just don't know what is around the corner.

Just have to hope i find her a good home if not her real home.

I have 2 females that spray when upset. They have destroyed my bedroom carpet, the carpet in the cat litter room (which is now bare), and my library carpet. I am not a happy camper, and try not to stress them out any more than needed.

Now, my girl, Boris, who sprays has been fine since Calloway has been brought in. But a month back when I brought in another FEMALE...wow... she went nuts!!! I think it depends on the cat, the gender of cat being brought in, and whether your cats are dominant personalities and will be apt to spray to show this is their house.

GREAT NEWS, i found the owners, hubby and I were outside when this voice over the fence say's have you seen a little tabby kitten, i said YES YES YES, it turns out she is a block away from us, and may have followed her owner and daughter to the bus, i quite believe it, as she has a ton of purssonality that one.

She has two identical brothers as well cous, cous and she is sugar,i am so happy and so relieved.

She has not been spayed and is five months old, i stressed to her you must get her spayed, said she was going to,but people tell you anything they think you want to hear.

I told her i had spent over $60.00 on her at the vet today, and she said to give her the bill and she will pay it when she can, she is a solo parent, of course have been there ,done that , so know how that can be, i said just do what you can , when you can,so we shall see, i let her know that we are not rich people , far from it, i was expecting not to have to pay at the vets, so that is why i took her really to check if she had been micro-chipped etc, to be honest i would have just bought the flea and worm treatment and then i would not have had to pay consultation fee,Ellies was free, so i ended up paying for the kitten, which i can least afford, so i do hope she pays up.

Anyhow a happy ending, thank goodness as i was feeling the strain and the stress of it all,now no more kitties turn up at my house please!!!!

yes it is brilliant news i do hope they spay her, was not sure on how old they should be, but told her she should do it soon, said she would, but you never can tell.

Was getting myself in a bit of a state worrying what to do next if the owners had not contacted me, so it is a big relief all around,i do miss the little cheeky thing, she was so adorable. she said i could come around and see the brothers, so i might just do that some time.

Carole, why don't you go visit her and her brothers, since the woman invited you to. That way you can keep in touch with little Sugar and check on her getting spayed and all! Also, I bet the woman will be more likely to pay up if she knows you're coming around and you develop a friendship.

Yay! So glad you found her owners. Maybe you could call your local humane society/SPCA and ask if they know of any programs to help encourage people to neuter their pets and pass on the info to her owners? Just a thought. :)

As far as age goes, it's a pretty hotly debated subject in some circles as to how early you should spay/neuter, but I think 6 months is a pretty agreeable age to most. Considering she goes outside I'd want to make sure she got spayed before she goes into heat (which she already can @ 5 months) because 1. she can and almost certainly will get pregnant and 2. she will have to be spayed in between heats because spaying during a heat is more risky and thus costs more.

Again, I'm really glad she is back with her owners and I hope they do the responsible thing and spay her. :D

Sorry everyone i could not reply as i was locked out of my email address, and only just changed things on here,someone has been spamming from my acct, really a big nuisance as it is my main email acct too.

Anyhow i have left a note in her box to let her know about cheap spaying, i did some research today and found out i can get her spayed for $30, which is really cheap, so i left her all the details, however i guess owing me $63.90 and that on top of it is really rather a lot for a solo parent, probably on a welfare.

I would love to say don't worry about paying me back, and just get her spayed, but i really cannot afford to do that (oh well back in overdraft yet again ), however i am not even sure she will pay me, i only have her word on that, and just have to wait and see.

I feel i made an error in judgement, i probably should not have taken her to my vets,but i thought i would not be charged since she was not my cat,(lesson learn't never assume anything), check it out first i did need to find out if she had been micro-chipped, and get her deflead and wormed, but i could have done the last two myself with little expense,now i have put myself out of pocket and probably caused her extra expense she cannot afford,trying to to a good deed has kind of back-fired,still i am really happy that Sugar is safe and back with her owners and brothers where she belongs.

I may well go around yet to say hello, but i am quite a shy person and find that sort of thing hard to do.
